Sunken Fortress

The sunken fortress Under Ashford is the remains of the Dwarven Capital
Before they were wiped out and Cursed for eternity
The curse has been lifted and archaeologists have started in the city
We were interested in what was below the city

We had a ratman trap masters help and discovered a bunch of mercenaries also there
The mercenaries died very nastily
Something was guarding the ruins below

We went anyway and got a big surprise
White Atlanteans all women all very psychic

Not at all sure what they were but they seemed ok with us looking around
They even helped us find the main buildings

The castle from the Dream
We headed for the library and I took the book I was reading in the dream
Hopefully Jessie can translate it

Alex checked out “her” room and found a load of broken weapons
Not sure what that means either
but we were later told to find someone called Ares to help with that
so a trip to the forrest is in order (Ares served with master ranger Shae)

We followed the power source readings and when we got to the tower
We triggered an illusion of some sort
We were back as Greive and reich

And the story jumped back a little
To the night of Brekkens release
Tolan ordered us to deal with “her” new creations
Created by her use of the Lanris
And Rochon told us to play along as his plan was coming to fruition

So we went and found her creations
The Atlantean forerunners, all female and all white
We convinced them to help and went back to Rochon
He mentioned Greives little rabble rouser Solvoun but not much came of that

A bit of deduction also led to Ceres being the creator of the 0110 race
As the Atlanteans were designed to kill the 0110 who had rebelled
Then the Atlanteans rebelled
So Ceres created a new ultimate race
We don’t know what that one is yet

But it seems the women bred with first the divines then other races that followed
And gave birth to more than 1 race
The Atleanteans on leons world for 1

It got a little confusing for us as we have seen this scene from different angles
But the saboteurs could have lived the lives of more than 1 divine
As they have lived countless lives over the Eons

And the queen and of all people Matt Keogh have been talking to lady Swift

When Ivans office was searched he was stockpiling mana crystals
Thousands of them some huge ones from the Forrest
1 had shards orbiting it and Matt hemlock said he had seen this near ashford

While we were there a Psychic Tried to frame Leon for the murder of some Rangers
Admiral Hawke was gunning for him till she realised it was a trick

We discovered that she has been to Earth
She got herself Gene boosted with 0110 DNA
That’s what she is

Jessie’s religious Zealot of a brother is also here
At a dangerous time as some people are desperately looking for new gods
And he has just the kind of charisma to take them

Space

The xidus fleet that was on the way has been destroyed
By an offshoot human fleet called Vanguard City
They are intending to take XID (xidus home world)
This will spark a holy war and is not good

Battle fleet Krakken is due to arrive
And things could get dangerous
When it arrives the Admiral could and tactically should perform a military takeover
It remains to be seen what she will do

Thraxians

They are hunting down and killing their own children
According to Vermithrax they do feel deeply but they do not let that influence their actions, he raised them that way but when he left those children did not implement that training in their own children

Then Lucy came and raised them to war
And my they hate her for it
There will be a reckoning there I think

The house of Magnus
Mood:  quizzical
The fall of the House of Magnus

We decided to head the ruins of the Magnus estate for some answers
And we got more than we bargained for

Seems they were Cult of Krakken
And were doing a ritual in the old temple under the house
(temple to the divines)

Seems a young boy names Sam messed the ritual up
Killing the High priestess with his mothers sword
(his father was killed and his mother sacrificed .. his young brother survived)

But something went wrong and it looks like Sam ended up with the power
He basically became a pawn of Ceres, directly connected to the chorus
A chorister of everything

And we think that Sam now goes by Magnus’s name
And claims their legacy

Odd as he is in fact the son of Ellen Vassilly one of the riches families in Imperiallis
And either him or his brother (victor) could at any point claim the merchants guild

He must have his reasons though seems he has very little else
And very little choice

Above that temple were Dwarven ruins , a kind of tourist attraction
Loads of junk to sell to Jessie

The worrying thing is the text on the ritual room and statues is Atlantean
The warlike advanced race from Leons world
It is unknown how they could come to be here

The sword of damoclease

The super end of the world type warrior from leons world
Showed up under mind control of the shards on the island
Under the control of Hellion (krakens daughter)

Hit Magnus with unlimited power
Magnus took it on the chin and hardly flinched (we really need to investigate this more)

We freed Damocles and he left and Magnus went back to whatever he was doing

Blastrock

Priotus headed to Blastrock
And it was not pretty
He gave what was left of Ivan to the lichelords outside and reclaimed the mages guild


Asmodai and fortune meet their ends

We found out what was up with Asmodai
Fortune was fighting her last battle and he was to be at her side

We learned a little more about ourselves
In the beginning there was only Ceres
But something made a choice to BE

What was that something ?

It was the 2 bits of original material that ?Gen had
Fortune with her time ring sent those back to the beginning to start the individuality
She seemed to be annoyed with them for some reason

There are 2 of us and 1 changer for the dark

Asmodai and Fortunes last stand provided the distraction needed for Ceres not to notice
They went down fighting by all accounts
Tyr went with them however
Leaving Dianne Cresent a bit lost

We needed more answers

Christian taught us how to Take power from events
Not shards as such but power none the less

We assume Magnus has done this countless times and that’s where his power lies
So we are off to investigate the House of Magnus

Good worthwhile trip in all

Even though we annoyed Esteban Cortez by rescuing a victim from his streets
Turns out it was the senator of the Goresh a race in the commonwealth and the father of the cadet killed by the vanguard in an attempt to frame us He was helpful later on when we got arrested by the rangers as illegal immigrants (we are officially Goreshian citizens it seems)
He offered to speak to the commonwealth on Imperrialis’s behalf

The Broken Man

We worked out who our broken man is
A being called Ground Zero
3 separate men who can merge into a being of immense power
Deacon killed 1 of the Tyrions and maimed another after totally vaporising the first

We found Ivy (the Forrest lady) had the body of the dead one
And we met Tizzy who is the maimed one
If we can find a way to bring back the third we could have Ground Zero on our side

When on Earth We discovered The cult of Krakken are already on the trail
Due to their stupidity we beat them to it this time (and got them deported home)

Now it comes to the dilemma, Ground Zero was not a nice man
The defenders of Earth fought him
The wisdom of resurrecting a man with that much power and an attitude is suspect

So we asked the people who knew him
Priotus only fought him
Coco thinks he is an honourable man
All of earth would love to see his power

This does not help us however so it may be back to Earth
And talking to Jessie

We talked to Vermithrax about the possibility of resurrecting the last Tyrion
He told us he could , but will not
But he did advise us that Lanris could , if she learns how to use her power
And that Ms Keogh was the ideal person to teach her
Cass has all the theory apparently but lacks the powers that Lanris has
So we headed to Cawdor to ask her to help (she said yes)

On the way to Cawdor the train was attacked, for once we were not the target
It was carrying a large amount of merchants guild certificates
We assisted an Agent of the Crown in defeating the bandits and delivered the certificates

In Cawdor we met Hiroshi Gunan , a badly injured ledgend who was fixing for a showdown With the order of light. We followed him to Imperiallis and watched the fight

Coco tried to intervene but failed to even affect Magnus
But they fought and Gunan won
Both survived the fight however

In the confusion I took back the staff of Greive from magnus’s room
And he has not come back for it yet

The lord Generals brilliant idea

That’s is to send scouts to make contacts on Leons world
And guess who gets the job

First day went well

A geosolutions board member called Danvers

And a councillor called Chambers

A lot of historical info and a “phone” that can talk to danvers and anna from our world

Also a strange character called MR C who helped fix up accommodations and transport
In return for the eternal torment of Fabian cortez

Tomorrow we go to find Savage
He is the fixer who has been getting a lot of the criminals to our world

House

Gen bought the house  the duke gave them some furniture and they moved in
The tax to be paid almost broke Gen

A few well wishers had left gifts
A load of enchanting supplies
The rune for crafting the Redfern rune (priotus’s lady faerie friends rune)
And a bunch of seeds and plants (turns out to have been from Cass as a thank you)

The plants sprouted instantly so we have a beautiful garden already

Also was a letter from a 0110 (chitters) coco pops is an isolationist who will help us in order to save her own hive (she is working on the gate of titan)

Probabilities

The mayor found us out mathematician who was working out all the probabilities
In falkin asylum
Bad thing was the enemy had been using him for a while
We went to get him and brought him to Titan

We (with the help of Jessie and the mayor) asked him some questions

The first card was a man called Christian (matt Keogh knows him)
Gor is beyond
The child/children have already been born
Fabian is serving his old master in order to kill the undying
And something called the mage king wants the sword od Xandras (Alex)
And he was working on something at the time which turned out to be transient code
(from leons world but it uses books here instead of machines)
Leon stole some of it for his pet gilgamesh

Lot to think about so we decided to start with Christian

Whoa boy
They son of Mordane By his other daughter Silver (now the queen)
Supposedly dead at birth he is now a vampire hunter

He offered to help us as according to him we are special beyond being divineshards

Problem is he is his fathers son and getting him into Titan proved impossible
So he waits for us outside
He has already started the lessons
Seems events also have shards that can be harvested without any harm

Dreams

On the way to titan Gen had a dream about the fall of the demon realms castle
Mutated 0110 stormed the cathedral and almost killed Verlock
But for a sorcerer called Dante and Juno’s sacrifice
Krakken now controls the Demon realm

Aliens

We were asked by the mayor to help with an idea to integrate the aliens more
Military help is out of the question as is technological help
But they have a humanitarian organisation called the Red Cross

We enlisted the help of the Xidus Rocky and the sorcerer Dante to get some here


Assassination and parties

There was an assassination attempt on Leon that was foiled by a Phantom
But a phantom in ranger armour
Bears looking into a little more

We were also invited to the Imperillan settling in party for the new troops in Titan
Mistress Crescent was there and she offered to bless our house in the name of Tyr
We accepted of course (she also asked us to do a job for the church)

On the way out we saw the Lizardmen coming in
Much celebration (they have been reclusive of late)
They are rebuilding their cities and wish to reaffirm the alliance with imperialles

Lots happening

Alex’s theory

Alex has a theory that Krakken has an overall view of the probabilities of events happening and can nudge events to a path he finds preferable
After talking to both Matthew and the Mayor of Titan we find that this is true in the broad sense

The hunt now is for the mastermind who holds all of the probabilites

House in Titan

We have decided (well Gen has anyway) to buy a house on Kings row in Titan
And a base of operations and as an investment for the future
Costing 15,000 gold it is taking some time to get the money
But Gen did his first days work 900 gold for enchanting at a smithies
The duke has agreed to provide some furniture
And jessie has given some rugs she says will never need cleaning

Murder

We took a contract to investigate the Murder of a Titan stall holder
The only clue was orcs were seen there and he had just retrieved an unknown artefact from Davos

Turns out what he had was a bit of a skinwalker (robots who kill and wear the skins of people)
We at first thought it was a warrior one instead of the infiltrators
But it turned out to be a builder
The skinwalkers are dying (and exploding) and they need the builder to rejevinate the race
Mortality has given them an appreciation of life it seems
And a desire to reporoduce

The order of light was sent to Get the bits of the builder they had found
And they killed the merchant

We killed them and were entrusted with the bits of the builder which we gave to the Primeminister


Magnus’s lesson

Leading on from that we had to go and investigate the order of light and found Magnus very angry. He killed 2 of his acolytes (the ones from beneath Cawdor who released Matt Keogh to kill us) The order has instructions not to harm us

He took us into Imperialles for our lesson of the day
Lesson learned we are all gods and we decide who lives and dies

In doing so he hired an assassin to kill one of his acolytes and Alex stopped him
We then discovered that the assassin was one of us
Names Liam Greyhawke ( yes Tolwyns son) and his sister Lissa
And was only doing this work to support his sister who is dying from the neurone plague
(she is also one of us)
Alex convinced him to come with us
And he and his sister are living now in the Dukes estate
He wants the builder as creators are rare
destroyers are common but the spark if life is very hard to create

Meeting blue lady

Griff set up the meeting with the blue lady who was selling him Tomselek guns
And what a set up that turned out to be

She was a Vanguard (leons home worlds thraxian types)
Who killed her crew then herself with a black legion sword in order to start a war
The frame up was we were there

Priotus covered it up and dent us to investigate the sword
It was Richters sword from the unification war (600 years ago)
But machine restored so Savik (Titans smith who made the sword) told us that it was not repeaired buy and smith on the planet
Also it had been stolen from the museum and replaced with a forgery
(the mayor was not happy about that)

The last people to ask to see the sword were .. Lady Swift and Fabian cortez

Set up from start to finish

We proved our innocence in the end and an operation to see what Fabian is up too is about to start but that’s for someone else to do

The unification / kings party
Mood:  a-ok
Talking to the gorgon was a bust but she did say Titan was where the plot is

On the way to Titan we met Rocky the xidus
when he stopped the rogue ranger Lassiter killing everyone on the train
A major incident indeed as lassiter killed the train driver for no reason
very much hoping this does ot start a war

We headed to Titan for the Unification celebrationd
Lanris had a great time and met my family

Shock of the day was the 7th avenging angels showing up
led by their comander Vermithrax Bladefist

Then it was the Kings party
Alex got escorted by the lord general himself

Things were pretty tense then Leon went and asked Raptor to dance
(rapotor wife of fabian cortez)

Boy that went down well but Leon kicked Fabians ass
bit of a surprise to all concerned i think
we will however have fabian problems soon

The king unveiled his new for
it was very impressive
Pheonix wings and glowing eyes very inspirational

then the real fight started

Imperialles had an edge they had gotten a pheonix chick from asmodai
and imperialles never lose when a pheonix is flying
