Peace Corps

Seems we now have a "peace corps"
dedicated to rooting out sedition and treason

only problem being it is the corupt politions controling them

We were on a trip to Imperialles as our freind Jorran was in a spot of trouble
on the way gurading a consignment of water we were attacked by a Xidus

The want the water as it has mystical powers to them
It was powerfull and a good warrior but we beat it

Jorran dug a little too deeply into politics and as a result found a sizable bounty on his head cutting into his ability to investigate a coproration of dodgy tradesmen in the craft district
This is where we came in
we got the info he wanted and he said he will take it from there

When in Imperialles we saw the highwayman
he is a mythical figure and a folk hero of Titan
he was plastering the city with evidence that counciller Lucas was a Krakkenist and had committed some atrocious acts

Next thing we knew the council had decreed him a traitor and was planning to hunt him down. This was a surprise to us and even more of a surprise to the King who had no idea the council had even sat

He had the highwaymans info verrified then sentenced Lucas to death

We went back to Titan and found a peace cops officer had been mobbed for putting up the declaration about the highwayman
Seems he (or they) is a cult figure in Titan AND Imperialles

Fabian Cortez has started rumors about leon that the peace corps at least is taking seriosly and that annoyed leon greatly
ths cortez guy sounds like a real snake

After talking to Priotus and Asmodai we decided to go see Titans mayor as if he could help us track down the highwayman he could be an invaluable source of info on the cult of Krakken

Starlight Mithrill and meeting a Ledgend
Mood:  celebratory
We blagged a trip to the Forrest legit
To deliver some materials to Savik (the eleven smith formerly of Titan)
In doing so we gained a little acceptance in the Forrsest

He told us of a seam of starlight mithrill that had been unearthed
Its very hard to mine and the miners were stuck

To stop others from getting it we decided to intervene

It worked we were attacked on the way and actually aquired 2 shards each to use and study

Alex and Gen shared an odd dream
it seems someone is messing with our heads

We got the starlight mithrill and Savik has agreed to forge Alex a sword from it
And a dagger for me :)

Priotus gave a history lesson which was followed by a meeting with Vermithrax himself

he is not going to stop the war as he firmly beleives that Imperialles deserves some of what happened
but he is here to protect his friend (the now King)

and to protect US .. he has told them to leave us alone

The war is about to begin
and we have to save the Universe
well Gen is going to save Alex and the universe will be a byproduct

Artifacts revealed
We started to learn how to use our new powers
Well at least the refining of the shards from living things
plants and insects mostly

We were also left a new message from mordane
seems his plan to come back is to breed one of what we are by getting his daughter knocked up by mathias keogh

then he can come back

We also had a visit from Vermithrax, he is back to protect the world from the force he created

Gen also learned his first enchantment, phantoms edge
and got it right second time

A trip to stanley cathedral proved interesting
seems the gods held some of the shard artifacts and the Aquillans went to war with heaven to retreive them, they almost wiped out their civilisation to retreive 20 artifacts

those artifacts lie in stanley cathedral in tombs keyed to the "feel" of the Divine they belonged too

I retreived the cloak to go with the robe
And Alex decided to leave the gauntlets she had with the mask she found
Leon got a golden goblet

Ran a few errands for the War council and got paid so all is good
apart from news of many powerfull assasins on our way

Our origins revealed

seems we are the result of shards of the Devines becoming mortal again

The devines are the onse that created the universe and made the Gods

Krakken was a devine of sorts so that is why he refered to us as old friend

Bit of a shocker

Next big shock is that Mathias Keogh is the high preist of the cult of Krakken

He found a way to make himself like us and is fighting for the right to remake the universe as he wants it
(involves his mother in all sorts of icky ways)

to acheive this he has manipulated many
including the Lord General who does not actually know that he has an alter ego controlled by Matt

the Thraxians are back .. along with the Xidus (space spiders)
and countless heros and villans are heading to the world

the final battle between good and evil is about to begin

And we need some SERIOUS training

New ally (maybe)
Mood:  not sure
A new ally appeared
a sorcerer from another world called Leon
seems that he is like us and was drawn here to avoid being messed about at home

so we teamed up reluctantly for a trip south
to where the last battle of the Thraxian war occured
searching for answers we only found new questions

There was a thraxian city
complete with missile silos and something called a virus weapon

we also found out that Lady Castors maid is not what she appears
She is an agent of some force and is from the same place as our new ally

the sparks were quite obvious

anyway the Lord General told us a little more
his plans do not coincide with the cult of Krakkens totally
He is like us (whatever that means)
and is using them to his own goals

When we got back we needed answers and Lady Keogh was the place we chose to go for them

boy it must have been one hell of a time
just talking about it really upset her
and our new ally did not help much
he is quite abrasive

So we are off to Cawdor to see if anyone there has any artifacts from the time (specifically the armour Alex was told was hers)
Unfortunatly that means Mathias Keogh
and our new friend is bound to rile him up royally

hope we get out of this one alive

The plot of our origins thickens
Mood:  surprised
Escorting ms Doomfist to Blastrock to pick up a message supposedly left there for us we discovered a message from Mordane/Krakken himself

He seemed to know us and said he was wating for us to come again
He had an item for each of us and those items confused us even more
Seems these items predate the Gods themselves
no one knows where they came from

How can they be ours ? and how could Krakken call us old friend

Ms Doomfist has a robot she says was created by the Aquillans to tear down the gates of heaven and she show it to us .. she got a shock as it activated as we got close .. no idea what caused that
when we got back to Titan we discoverd Priome minister Priotus had been kidnapped
We went off on a wild plan to rescue him as it seems he had been taken to Hellhole isle
we already had a tip off that Alex had once been there

We also had some company in the form of Ms DeWinters
the swordswoman and second in command of the millitary

Not entirely trusted as she is the Lord Generals catspaw

on the way we got to know her a little better and she seems not to bad

On Hellhole we found where alex rested for a while
an ancient temple built by the Aquillans who worshipped the things that can before the Gods

Then we discovered Priotus had been taken to Jormangand isle and arrangements had been made for us to follow

only 2 captains have ever landed on Jormangand isle
Brok and king Menes
back to the Basalisk isle then

And another surprise
King Menes was waiting for us and mentioned that Gens mother had spent some time on the Basalisk isles

We got to Jormandand and found a surprise
Priotus and Brok sunbathing

Seems Priotus left to avoid Titan starting trouble with the Imperrillain millitary
without his strength Titan will be more cautious

another surprise came as Ms DeWinters seemed to know nothing of the Lord Generals dodgy activities and when the suspisions were hinted at she seems to be willing to watch a little closer now

A good ally to have I suppose

A rather disturbing night
Mood:  crushed out
Hired by lady Castor to escort her on a trip we ended up in a town called Redfield, it was bizarre and we discovered by the next morning populated entirely by ghosts

It seems Redfeild was the place where the original Red crusade started with the slaughter of over 3000 people and we witnessed the ghosts replaying the event

Then the actual cult of Krakken showed up
The daughter of the crusader is now a monster intent on blood
She was planning to sacrifice 5 women for some purpose but we distracted her and rescued the women

Our next mission was to the great forest and that turned out to be a mistake we got out alive but were not in the slightest welcome

on the way back to Titan we had a meeting with the high preist of the cult of Krakken and he told us we belonged to them and that they had created us and this was our last warning

the train then crashed and we found out that some 60 passengers had beren killed before that and the train damaged Titan railway station

2 personalities of note

a bound elven ranger who Gage seems to delight in tourmenting
and an odd chap who pops up and asks philosophical questions

but a dark day
could we really be spawn of the cult

neither alex or gen actually know where they came from

2 more nights with some action too :)
Mood:  caffeinated
actually got some violence done i the role-play
took a Job for the mayor to keep an eye on a suspicious character

and uncovered the moevements of a human supremasist group in Titan
Led by a Thraxian supersoldier in disguise

Seems the exiles are comming home

Also did a little bit of pest control and got a slot at the playhouse

Chester Trip
Mood:  bright
Just returned from a week long trip to Chester
had a great time and roleplayed many times

actually got very little in the way of work done with the role play
but got a ton of character work and plot work done
Alex and Gen are making contacts and learning a little more about the events of the past

A verry bitter man
2 new jobs last night for our characters
clearing out some rat men from a goblin warren
and plugging a leak at one of the manufacturing plants

the leak was one of the sources of Thraxian items being seen on the black market
and also interestingly they made a replacement set of the red crusaders armour for him as he was forced to leave his other set at the scene of a killing in cawdor


finding more about the history of the world every day
but it is like pulling teeth

no one will talk about it and we have been ordered not too

the "highlight" was meeting the legendary Mathias Keogh
one of the greatest heros of our age supposedly

what a small and bitter prick
ego the size of the planet and a temper to match
zero respect for anything or anyone .. not even the gods

we shall be staying away from that powder keg
