Life: Meaningful or Meaningless? By Josh B.
Why is the world falling apart?
Why are we here?
Why are there so many deaths?
Who did this to us?
What is wrong with me?
What is our motivation?
What do we live for?
How do we fix our screwups?
How did we come to be?
How do we know who is wrong and who is right?
The answer is: Nobody knows.
Our lives mean nothing, or so it seems, yet we are here. We have no motivation, yet we work. Death is so far, but it seems so near. Life is a mystery. No one lives forever, although it seems as though we do. As we live, something dies in us, but we don't know what it is. We try and try but never really succeed. But no matter what, we have to strive for the best.
This was written by my son Josh when he was 12 years old. I've always known he was wise beyond his years. Now I have proof!
