The Village Scribe

Our deepest thanks to all of you who have purchased tea from "Tea Bunnies"! Unfortunately, we've made the decision to close our online business, and we will no longer be taking individual orders. However we will still be selling at craft fairs and corporate vendor booths, and we'll keep this site updated as to where and when you can find us! Why, "Tea Bunnies"?

Our original name was, "Comforting Creations", at www.comfortingcreations.net, but people had a hard time remembering it, and it just felt a bit too formal. Then one day, when my daughters and I were playing "tea party" with their little toy bunnies, it suddenly struck me that this is what it's all about...enjoying moments and making memories together. So, in honor of the little bunnies who reminded me that tea parties should be fun, and not stuffy, we've changed our name to "Tea Bunnies"...
And, for all you skeptics out there who say, "That's a silly name...bunnies don't even drink tea," we recently received an email from Gaye A., from South Carolina, who wrote, "I have a pet bunny...We discovered he liked tea when he turned over a cup of sweet tea on an end table and proceded to lick it up...I'll never have to have tea alone. The bunny will be more than glad to join me!" Of course, as Gaye and our other tea-drinking, bunny-owner friends will tell you, if you're having real bunnies to tea, it's important to check with your vet or visit, House Rabbit Society, for information on how to plan a "bunny-healthy" menu. But, whether your guests are furry or bald, we hope you'll invite somebunny over for tea today, and savor every sip!
