Program Goals for WHS PE

 

  1. To continue to increase the following levels of each and every student:
    1. Fundamental motor skills
    2. Overall fitness
    3. Social skills
    4. Knowledge
    5. Sports ability
    6. Technology

 

  1. To emphasize the concept of incorporating physical fitness into daily lives
  2. To increase the cardiovascular levels of each and every student in physical education
  3. To increase the knowledge and application of appropriate PE behavior, good sportsmanship, fair play, rules and regulations of sports/activities in class.
  4. To allow students to participate in a safe environment
  5. To allow students a safe environment in which they feel they can try new activities, games and skills
To implement more technology into physical education
