What were the dating customs when you were younger?
~Amanda: Well, the customs are pretty much the same since it hasn't been more than a decade ago.However...technology is much more prevalent in relationships. Females are also paying for meals now and sometimes, it is the female that initiates interest, instead of the male.
~Tony: You can text message, IM, voicemail, email, or just call someone up on a cell phone. There is always a means to reach the other person...
~Daven: I am still young!
~Mrs. Sanabria: Basically the same as now except that people didn't date until they were older, when they could drive.
~Mr. Jones: Meet the parents, dinner and dancing.
~Mrs. Jones: Going to the drive-in movies, pulling the car into a space next to the speaker pole, rolling down the window, inserting the speaker, then watching the movie!
~Mrs. Yu: Usually the man pays for everything. Never go dutch.
~Mrs. Shaw: We often went out in groups to fraternity parties, movies, football games.
~Mr. Ellwanger: Be respectful and open doors. Treat your date like a lady.
~Mrs. Sharrett: The guy asked the girl out on a date- the guy paid for the date- opened the door for the girl.
