Family History: Masami Hasimoto (Mother): Born in Queens, New York. Masami's parents were born and raised in Tokyo. Masami fell into the computer business, working for Microsoft Incorporated in her twenties - she left the business after her first and only daughter, Rei, was born in 1989. Despite her family's decision to return to Tokyo, Masami stayed with her, at the time, fiancee, Eijiro Sakayuki. Today, Masami has returned to her computer business in programming. She and her husband now live in Sante Fe, New Mexico. Eijiro Sakayuki (Father): Eijiro, although of Japanese descent, has always been a native American. Raised in Trenton, New Jersey, Eijiro was famed for his brilliance in programming - and what little there was back in the early eighties - and his skilled artwork. However, he left the creative field and joined with Apple Industries, in 1983, and later with Macintosh, in 1990. Between his career switch, he met with his wife, Masami and lived with her in Brooklyn, New York - where they were married - and raised one child, Rei. Today, after a recent employment move, they reside in Sante Fe. Jiro Isayama (Direct Cousin): Rei only knew Jiro as a playmate, not realizing that he was her aunt's son until she was in elementary school. Jiro is three years older than Rei and is known for his science fiction writing, where he published Imperial Saints in 1993, and his various forms of artwork. Upon graduating high school, he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, but moved within the year for unexpressed reasons. However, it was Jiro who funded Rei in finding an apartment and getting her "underway." Jiro now lives with Rei's parents in Sante Fe. Occupation: Rei began her life in artwork at the young age of seven, where she drew landscapes and even delved into building design. During high school, she began portraits, where she nearly mastered the technique by graduation. In college, she heavily studied Greek and Roman mythology, along with Pagan and Celtic mythology and began painting the various creatures, from satyrs to dragons to mermaids. Today, she mixes the work: from portraits, to mystical paintings and even having the ability to mix to two. The following has been recorded by a recent psychiatrical evaluation. Relationships: Leo Calus (file: lcalus4582): Rei has described as Leo as her first friend. Although the two have been deemed as "opposites," she spoke of Mister Calus in high esteem. For the length of a summer, Rei and Leo were dating quite exclusively until after a recent bar incident. Upon asked why the relationship ended, Miss Sakayuki responded, "Because it needed to." No true answer or explanation has been given for the end of the relationship. "It's been over," Rei explains, "but I know Leo and I will speak again." Garrek Whitehall (file: gwhit7658): Rei mentioned Garrek only briefly. She spoke of meeting him in his antique shop just before it burnt down. Rei esteems Whitehall highly for "helping with the headaches." Rei suffers from chronic migranes, and she described as Garrek being the only one who could allieve it them. Upon asking about Garrek, Miss Sakayuki often froze and managed the change the subject. Upon personal investigation, one learned that Whitehall was murdered. When asking Miss Sakayuki this, she only shrugged in response, but nervous twitching and even stuttering issued forth afterwards. Doctor Bradley Prior-Palmer (file: bpri3512): Rei seeks Bradley constantly for her own psychiatric help. However, all issues that have been discussed remain strongly confidential. Very little mention is made about the doctor, but Sakayuki does say, "He helps me, even though not as much as Garrek. He does his job." Napoleon Reaves (file: nreav7638) Napoleon has only been mentioned once in the past week. Rei has just engaged in an relationship with Napoleon, which she describes as "comfortable." She makes very little mention about emotional attachments to the man. "He's a wonderful man, but my feelings are my own." Vices: Character vices are determined from slight fits of paranoia, stemmed from nightmares and unexplained anger. Rei has not been classified with paranoia or schizophrenia, but "attacks" has been labeled with many symptoms that the above have. These symptoms have been rare, only occuring twice since she has moved to Albuquerque. She has grown substance abuse with alcohol and it is rumored that she partakes in E, or Ecstasy.
