Copping Out

Okay, so I've been a little sidetracked on other business to keep up this silly little site of mine.  I'm sure I'd only have written snippy and half-hearted updates anyway, and this one might end up being that way, too.  But I feel an obligation to keep up this site, mostly because this site exists, so I will write something on this Sunday, because of a headache that's preventing me from doing my taxes or reading Alfred Lord Tennyson.

So what've I been doing, huh?  The Times New Roman is close to a May 1st release.  Things are looking good on that front.  I'm actually satisfied with all but one article, and that article is really small and I only put it in very recently.  The business side is a little trickier, as I am waiting on the inevitable approval as an official student group by the lazy-ass Student Affairs Board, so that I can get an account with the budget office, so that the ads for the pilot can be finalized and we can pay the printers to print it.  Oh, that's totally fun.

Anyway, I've been working on that, and four classes (essay due Wednesday for one of them), and I have to arrange summer housing, pay for fall (and on) housing, and do my taxes in the next two days.  Oh yea, and I forgot about the application for office space in the Curry Student Center for the Times New Roman.  Blah.

And all this work has a double effect on this website.  Not only does it take away from time I could be spending writing, but it means I'm not really going out on adventures, or doing interesting things, or even just languishing in my room feeling miserable and writing about that.  Nope, I've been uncommonly well-adjusted of late.

Yes, I know that's a cop-out, and a lie.  Stuff has been happening.  I just haven't been remembering it well and haven't been writing it down right away, so I don't want to waste space with badly-remembered gibberish.  There is one thing for this page that I wrote down on paper and just haven't typed in yet, that you'll be getting soon.  It's from about two weeks ago, I'd say.  I also still have to finish writing the second part of the update on the New York trip.

Well, I just thought I'd get you up to date, and get people to stop complaining about it always being "that damned sunshine one."  I have to get started with this kind of rambling, talking kind of update, anyway, in order to get warmed up for the real stuff.  So yea.  I like things.  Talk to you later.  (Insert more awkward comments here).
