Worst Update Ever

I got alot done today and yesterday.  While I was at my work study job yesterday, Sandra, advisor for the Times New Roman, showed up, and told me Jon, the business guy for AfterHours was around.  Then Jon showed up and we talked basics and actually started to get a grasp on how we would work out the deal for advertising so that it would pay for the paper.  Pretty exciting to do that.  I just have to keep things up to schedule and see how things work out.

If he's good enough to be the king of the monkeys, he's good enough to be the king of me.  ALL HAIL THE MONKEY KING!!!

Also yesterday, I walked ALL THE WAY to the bank, so I could deposit a couple of paychecks and take out some sweet Clerks cartoon... err, work study... cash.  And I managed to go through the entire process of withdrawing from my Music of Asia class.  On top of that, I found out when my co-op advisor's walk-in office hours were, so I can start figuring out what I'm going to be doing this summer and fall for a job.  On the whole, quite productive.

Then today, I went down to Trident and got an application to work at the cafe there.  There weren't any left for the bookstore, but it doesn't really matter to me.  If they'd take me for a job there, I'd be in a place I like and I'd be making money (most of which I'd spend there and on CDs at Newbury Comics up the street).  What a perfect dream life that would be.

It's not like I really did everything that I was wanting to do last night, in my state of feeling useless, but I did some of it.  Baby steps, baby steps.  So I feel pretty good today.  It might not have been just that I got a few things done, though.  It was the way it felt being outside this morning.  The air was cold and the wind was biting, to the point of feeling purging.  The sun was out in a bright blue sky and it shone brightly off a layer of snow that seemed easily whiter than, say, the background of this webpage.  Crisp and beautiful.  There's nothing like a walk on a cold morning to invigorate you and leave you feeling good about yourself.

So that's how eventful things have been!  Include nine hours of sleep in the prime of the evening, and you've got my life the past two days.  Sigh... how boring.  Worst update ever.
