(Hi, and welcome to the Luboŝ page! I think this is the first Luboŝ Motl fan website right now. If you haven't heard of Luboŝ, feel free to read my dedication below or just click the big link above [that's Luboŝ's name] and prepare to be blown away! :D Hope you enjoy my page!)
We know that LUBOŜ MOTL IS THE ONE TRUE SAVIOR OF MODERN MUSIC. How, you ask? In our times of 2004, the music industry has suffered tremendously through file sharing while icons like Anton Gustavsson and Wesley Willis have left our Earth. A gap has formed in our souls without our realizing it, a gap longing to be filled by a voice that speaks to our generation. To know that I discovered that voice, all I needed was a sign. I found that sign. HOW I FOUND LUBOŜ MOTL While looking for information on the musical act tATu, Google showed me a mysterious file space, labeled only as "Index of /~motl/mic." I saw many small wma files (apparently compressed), which I mistook for crappy music, like Abba. How could I have known my discovery!! I first listened to alanis-ironic.wma and noticed something was slightly off about the usually trite melody. At least, that was my first reaction. I listened again and realized someone else was singing with Alanis! So I downloaded abba-sos.wma and I realized that I had discovered something which defied every expectation I could have had... I had discovered the Power of Luboŝ. By taking classic, even bad songs and adding his own unique, personal touches to them, this amazing artist managed to revitalize both the good and the bad of past in new, unforeseen ways which call to Generation Y and well beyond into the future, maybe till the end of time. Singing alongside rock idols with a soulful, pronounced baritone and only a slight Czech accent, Luboŝ captures emotions in songs many of us never saw in them before. But you might be saying to yourself, "anyone could record their voice over a song!" Maybe, but your hero and mine is no one trick pony. Using voice modifiers that make his voice more like electronica than homo sapien, there are times when Luboŝ even outshines his idols, like on cher-believe.wma. Luboŝ isn't afraid to whistle along to a melody either, and adds a new instrument which no special effect or constructed instrument could compare with: THE HUMAN SOUL. And that is why I will always be a fan of Luboŝ Motl. And his music video of the Tom and Jerry song shows his aptitude to showmanship and physical emotion, something that is almost completely empty from our mainstream music. You may not believe me, but Luboŝ Motl has already redefined music as we know it. The very existence of his underground work is proof enough for me. But I can't make up your mind for you! The only way to believe is by listening to the vocal work of the very talented Luboŝ Motl. Because Harvard may've taught him a thing or two about theoretical physics, but what he'll teach us about ourselves will be immeasurable.
- A Proud Luboŝ Motl Fan
