I stayed home from school today to do some housework. I didn't get a lot done, and to anyone other than me, it probably looks like I just made more of a mess. But I did make progress, I promise.

Dad and I had a long talk about how he doesn't want to lose mom and how he wishes he could change the way he acts sometimes, but he doesn't know how. Somehow the conversation evolved into one about sex, and I gave him some pointers about how he can be pleasing without "going all the way." Some of you will understand what I mean. It was strange talking to my dad about that, but interesting none the less.

I talked to Amy on the internet when she got home. I just don't understand why she's so damned opposed to me helping her. I mean, it was something really simple this time - some of her code wasn't right on her diary, and I was trying to tell her what needed to be fixed, but before I got to even tell her what it was, she goes off about how I "...don't need to be right all the time, you know." What the hell?! I was just trying to be helpful, and I know it wasn't something she knew how to fix directly. If she did fix it, it was by deleting the old code and bloging a new one back in. Sure, it's great if she wants to do it that way, but she wouldn't have even noticed it if I hadn't pointed it out; it's been like that for weeks now. And she didn't have to make something out of it. Where does she get "You don't have to be right all the time" out of "There's a problem in the code on your diary"? I swear, that girl drives me nuts sometimes.

On a lighter 'Amy' note, mom and her will be going to pick up a Christmas tree this weekend. They're going to set it up next week while dad and I put up the Christmas village. I figure that'll give mom and Amy some time for bonding (don't get me wrong, they get along just fine, but positive reinforcement never hurts), and it'll give mom and dad a chance to be together without being together. It'll also get my two favorite decorations of the entire year put up. Kudos for me!

Not much else. I got color schemes updated in my poetry and a general card list up on my Star Wars CCG site. I also put custom scrollbars anywhere I didn't have them. I'll work on some more tomorrow, and hopefully start posting some of my short stories soon. Make sure you browse through everything if you haven't yet. There's some fun stuff in here.

Enjoy!
