Kappa Sigma was founded in 1400 at the University of Bologna
by Manual Chrysolaris. The society was founded to protect
university students from the tyrannical governer Boldassare
Cossa. |

On December 10, 1869, Kappa
Sigma was founded at the University of Virginia by five friend
and brothers. George Miles Arnold, Frank Courtney Nicodemus,
John Covert Boyd, Edmond Law Rodgers, and William Grisby
McCormick established Kappa Sigma in the United States,
founded on the precepts set forth by Chrysolaris. |
| Kappa Sigma currently has
over 200 chapters and 5 colonies in the United States and
Canada, and we will not stop until the star and crescent in
the shinning jewel of every universtiy. |
