3/4 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
1/3 cup coarsely chopped pecans
4 T cold butter cut into cubes
2 - 3 firm, ripe pears peeled, cored and cut into wedges
2 - 3 apples, peeled, cored and cut into wedges
1/3 cup rasins
1/2 cup pear or apple juice
1 T all-purpose flour
In food processor, blend together first 5 ingredients.
Add nuts and butter: pulse several times until mixture is crumbly. (Can also be done by hand). In a 2-qt microwave safe dish, toss together pears, apples, rasins, nectar and flour. Sprinkle with oat mixture.
Cook in microwave on high 10 - 15 mins, until fruit is tender and topping is bubbling.
Let stand for 10 mins.
If you like hot here's a great little snack
to have when friends come over.
2 pounds pork or beef roast
4 cans BBQ beans
1 Bunch green onions finely chopped
5 habanero peppers chopped up (be careful not to touch your face, use glove if you have to or a plastic ziplock bag works to)
10 jalepenos chopped (be careful)
10 hot bannana peppers chopped (careful)
20 cayenne peppers chopped
1 green bell pepper chopped
1 jar spicy BBQ sauce
Chop and seed all peppers and onions and place into pan.
Pressure cook roast until done.
Then cut into small bite size pieces removing fat.
Put pieces into pan with the peppers and onions. Cook until the meat is saurated with peppers and onions about 10 minutes.
Pour all ingredients into pot and heat until boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
When done serve with bunches of cold drinks.
WARNING: Not for small kids or People with weak hearts.

1 can evaporated milk
2 cans water
1 pound pasta, cooked
1 pound american cheese
1 cup flour
1 stick of butter
Cook pasta and empty into a 9 X 13 glass baking pan.
Melt butter in large sauce pan.
Stir in flour.
Mixture should make a ball.
Slowly stir in milk and water.
Add diced or sliced cheese.
Stir frequently.
When all of the cheese is melted,
pour sauce over pasta.
Bake at 450 of aprox 20 min.
Top should have some browned spots.
This feeds the 3 of us twice,
but we abuse serving sizes, lol.
2 cups elbow macaroni (raw),
when cooked makes approximately 4 cups
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 28 oz can of diced tomatoes
12 medium to large mushrooms, sliced
small container of sour cream (optional)
1 medium onion, sliced (or chopped)
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
salt, pepper, italian seasoning, garlic, bay leaves,
crushed chillie pepper to taste
1/2 cup cheese whiz
Brown hamburger in large pan.
Add onions and sliced mushrooms.
Cook for approximatly 15 min.
Add can of tomatoes, cheese, milk butter, seasonings, and sour cream.
Let simmer gently for approximately 15 min.
Add cooked macaroni.
This makes a large pot.
It is also very inexpensive to make
Freezes well.
4 pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
1/2 tsp salt, optional
1/8 tsp pepper
2 medium onions, chopped
2 celery ribs, chopped
1 large green pepper, sliced,br>
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes
1/2 cup ketchup
2 Tblsp cider vinegar
2 Tblsp brown sugar
2 Tblsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tblsp lemon juice
1 beef bouillon cube (or package)
2 Tblsp cornstarch
2 Tblsp water
Hot cooked rice - optional
Place chops in slow cooker,
sprinkle with pepper & salt if desired.
Add remaining ingredients
(except for the cornstarch, water and rice)
& pour over meat & vegetables.
Cover & cook on low for 5-6 hours.
Mix cornstarch & water until smooth,
stir into liquid in slow cooker.
Cover & cook on high for 30 minutes
or until thickened.
Serve over rice if desired.
(Note: prepare all the veggies the night before, it makes the morning easier.)
