Prado, an obviously fit and focussed jockey gave Barbaro a beautiful ride and vice versa. His position and perfect fit on Barbaro allowed for an ideal match of energy forces meeting and matching both of their body angles.
These two athletes made good use of the energy created from the force of movement. No energy was lost. Their perfectly matched bodies contained the energy created with each stride Barbaro took. This contained energy put a spin on their hara centers. With every stride Barbaro took they were building a powerful energy force. Prado's strong yet soft and giving position on his mount allowed Barbaro to run with ease during the Derby. Their energies combined and Prado's perfectly positioned body moving perfectly with Barbaro's created a spin of energy forces. Barbaro's rounded back shows a horse that knows his jockey is right where he should be. His perfect position enabled Barbaro to run easily.

As Edgar Prado kept Barbaro in an easy position just off the pace - they were actually building tremendous energy forces resulting in a spin of other energy forces. This mix of energies then influenced a fresh flow of Ki energy throughout Barbaro.

If you study the Derby video of this race you can see Barbaro as the horse's turned for the homestretch. He had just taken the lead and he was the first horse you saw as they turned for home. He actually appeared to be bouncing as he found himself in the lead - he was a happy excited horse allowed to run efficiently with a well matched jockey whose natural instincts come into play when he sits on a horse.

When time came for the stretch run Barbaro was a bouncing ball of energy. Their energies blended and their hara's were spinning pleasantly making this a beautiful athletic moment that stole hearts all over the world.
