Some dates will change for each semester, but the rest of the info (ie attendance policies) will stay the same.
Dancin' Gators Informational Meeting:
1. Tentative Dates:
a. Group Practices Wednesday nights at 9:30 at the Raqcuet Club (ALL members, to practice opening and closing numbers).
b.Feb 4th Choreography Showcase, at the Racquet Club. Don't forget to bring your music!
c.Individual practices on the days and at the facilities that your choreographers schedule.
d.Spring show in mid-April. Our theme, "And above all, love."
2. Attendance Policies
a.Max of 3 absences, not including exams.
b.15 min late to ANY meeting = tardy.
c.2 tardies = 1 absence
Please keep in mind these attendance policies are for the betterment of the group. Last semester we had lots of problems with attendance and tardiness. Lets make this semester
better!
3. Choreography
a.Sign-ups for the Choreography Showcase are on Jan 28th
b.Choreography Showcase is on Feb. 4th
i.All choreographers need to come with a planned place and time that you will have practice so we can avoid scheduling conflicts.
ii.Remember to bring your music!
c.Choreographers will get to have auditions for their own dances. The Exec Board will help judge these auditions so that its not left up to one person.
d.Each choreographer needs to keep attendance at their individual practices and report any attendance problems to the secretary.
4. T-Shirts: 10$-15$
a.Member roster on the back(?)
b.Regular T-Shirt style
c.Submit ideas on Feb 4th to be put on the website so we can vote.
5. Dues: 15$-20$
