Recruits: Any player interested in joining SMB, will participate in a trial in which at least 2 members will evaluate them. In the end, a vote will be held. After being recruited, the recruit will wear the tag SMB|(name) (R). After a set time has passed, the members of the clan will vote to instate or release the recruit. If let into the clan, the recruit will become a member and wear the tag (Pvt). Recruits are allowed to participate in all clan events, just like members
Ranks: The following is a ranking system which will be followed in SMB.
General (Gen): The head of the Clan. The General organizes and runs scrimmages and practices, with the help of the Colonel and Major. The General has the power to alter rules, kick and allow recruits, and alter strategies. The General is also in charge of assigning ranks and duties.
Colonel (Col): The Colonel carries out the orders given to him by the General. The Colonel handles the recruitment process. The Colonel introduces and performs new tactics and strategies to the members during practices.
Major (Maj): The Major is the executive officer under the Colonel. The major duties of the Major are to introduce and perform new tactics and strategies with the Colonel. The Major serves as an emergency leader during matches, should circumstances disallow the Colonel and General from leading.
The Genral, Colonel, and Major are the three highest ranking positions within this clan. Members who hold these ranks are in charge of running matches, practices, strategies, and the recruitment process.
Captain (Cpt): The Captain is a position for those who excel within the clan. This position is also for those who are felt to have potential at one day leading the clan. The Captain carries out any duties handed down to him from his superiors.
Lieutenant (Lt): The Lieutenant is in control of the “under classmen” of the clan. They, however, have no authority when it comes to matches or practices.
The Captain and Lieutenant are responsible for ensuring that all Recruits, Privates, and Sergeants follow the rules. They are also responsible for working with newer members and ensuring that all members ranking below them know their strategies, come match time.
Sergeant (Sgt): The Sergeant is a position for Privates who show interesting in making this clan better. The Sergeant is expected to train alongside Privates, to make this clan better. Private (Pvt): The Private is a rank for the new recruits who have just been accepted into the clan. If recruits can prove themselves, it should be very easy to make their way up the rank ladder.
Conduct: All members are expected to be courteous to all Publics within the server. Recruits should also be treated with respect. The occasional joking between each other is acceptable, as you will become close to the other clan members over time.
No trash talking, heckling, or taunting will be accepted in matches, practices, and regular game play while the SMB Tag is worn.
The Ranking system MUST be followed, if you wish to participate in this clan.
All members must be on TeamSpeak when in Matches, Practices, Scrimmages, and when playing for fun in our server.
Roger Wilco will be used, as TeamSpeak has caused problems. The IP will be given out before matches.
Matches: All members will follow the following rules during matches that are being played…
No one is responsible for a loss. This is a team effort. No fingers shall be pointed and no one shall be blamed.
Cheats and or cheating will not be tolerated.
No Global Chat. Do not speak to the other team unless told to.
Follow orders from the Colonel and General during matches. If neither is available, the highest ranking member takes charge. When playing, keep the other members in mind. Do not commit any actions which will put the clan in danger of losing.
League Rules must be followed (OGL, TWL, or XGL)
Strategies: Strategies for each map will be introduced in practices. Opinions are welcome, as we wish to always make this clan the best it can be. Strategies are to be followed in matches, unless told otherwise.
