This website is designed to inform students of the study of rocks. Rocks are vital part of the earth's composition. Without rocks, volcanoes, mountains, and continents would not exist. There are several types of rocks. Sedimentary, Metamorphic, and Igneous Rocks. These are all very important and make up most of the earth's surface. The rock cycle is the process that rocks undergo. In a sense, it is a way of recycling rocks, hence the name rock cycle. Activities with children to explore the "rock world" are fun and educational.
