ABOUT US

St Paul's is a friendly, and welcoming traditional Anglican/Episcopal parish located less than a mile from downtown Prescott. The parish Bible-based, Christ-centered, theologically orthodox and Eucharist focussed. We teach the traditional Anglican/Episcopal faith as expressed in the Bible, the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, and the Thirty-nine Articles of Religion. Anglicanism is best described as Reformed Catholicism. We are Reformed in our commitment to the sufficiency and centrality of Scripture, and to the doctrines of Grace outlined by the 16th century Reformers, and Catholic in our retention of the Apostolic Ministry, Liturgical Worship and the seven ancient Ecumenical Councils of the Church in so far as they are agreeable with Scripture. We seek to help people grow in Grace and in their commitment to Christ through Bible-based preaching, the Sacraments, worship, study of the Scriptures, prayer, and service to the wider community. St. Paul's, Prescott, has long standing links with the Prayer Book Society.
