The Rector's History Page

I happen to be interested in history - both secular and ecclesiastical. Although by background I am a moderate Anglo-Catholic, I have learnt so much from my Evangelical Anglican colleagues that I now try to combine something from both schools in my own ministry. Here are some articles that I have put together recently to help lay people understand the history of their Church. At present they are aimed mainly towards the Evangelical side of Anglicanism - a topic often ignored in the USA - and the pre-Tractarian High Churchmen - another half forgotten group. I hope to add more articles, this time on Anglo-Catholicism, as time allows.
