Compaq Contura 430C Laptop Computer -- $10.00 (plus $20.00 Shipping)

This is an early 1990's laptop. 

Here is what this laptop has:

• 8 mb ram

• 486DX4 100 mhz processor

• 3.5 inch floppy drive

• 2 PCMCIA slots

• Built in track ball mouse

Windows 3.1 screams on this system.  I was able to load Windows 95 on it and it worked fine.  It is shown in a picture below running Windows 3.1.

This computer is sold without the AC Adapter and the battery does not hold a charge.  It does not have a hard drive in it.  I purchased it from as Army Surplus - it has some writing on the bottom of the laptop that states "US Army, 101st ABN DIV, HQ, 1st BDE, HR #15, 7550HUC22405." 

Compaq Presario CDS Desktop Computer -- $10.00 (plus $40.00 Shipping)

This is an mid 1990's desktop computer.  It is an "all-in-one" design - meaning that the monitor, cpu, and speakers are all one unit.  You only need to connect the mouse and keyboard to set this unit to set it up.

The computer has Red Hat Linux installed - the picture below shows the computer with the linux desktop on the screen.
