This update is June 28 2002. I am starting a monthly surfer of the month for her contributions to the sport, the effort to make the sport of surfing bigger and better. This month it goes to the legend of surfing...she made it happen, and she showed the whole would what it was all about! "We can dream forever, but we have to do something now." --Rell Sunn--the Queen of Makaha. All my honor, emotion, rememberance, and passion is in heart to Rell Sunn and what she did for the sport! We love you and your in all of our hearts as a surfing legend to this devine sport and its beauty! Rell Sunn July 31, 1950 - January 2, 1998
