Welcome to My House

Funny Face: This is greyson. He was one of the kids that went along with us, and he was just a great person to be with. Doesn't he look so cute? Awww, feel like pinching his cheeks.

Introduction:

I guess, I should start off with a little introduction about myself. My name is James Song, and from the looks of it and my name of course, you could tell that I am Asian--Korean to be more accurate. I am 22 years old, was born and raised in California, South Central but currently living in Korea, Seoul, due to my current obligation. I was raised up in a traditional Korean familia, needless to say that I am not a typical Korean or your average one--more Americanized than anything. However, I am just your average dude only with one distinguishment between me and the rest of the people in the planet. If you wish to find out you would have to ask me yourself about it.

I am also a proud teacher of 19 kids, Junior High and High School, EBK. For an year and half, I have learned more from them about life than my entire 22 years of living. They have shown me things I would not seen before, provided me everything that I wanted, given me such an inspiration and motivation, had the desire to persevere, and an experience I will never forget. It's weird, because you would think a student would learn more from a teacher. But in this case it wasn't so. From them, I learned so much that one person can not describe his experience in one page. I do know thing, though, I learned to be a man of God.

I could talk about myself and the things I have been through and my prior experience but that wouldn't be interesting. Beside, I don't share my life personal experience with just anyone. It is personal, something not everyone needs to know, and upmost I only share it with those who would like to hear.

This is when Steve, the old guy, matt, the young dude, and I, the slant eye dude went to Sorak mountain with our church. It was an awesome trip. I had a great time. You could tell by the smiles on our face.

Things that are occuring in my life at the moment of March 20, 2002: I'm preparing to leave South Korea very soon. About four and a half months from now, I will return to California, but as of now I don't where in California. Because of the unknown of college acceptance letters, all I can do is just patiently await for the letters to come. With prayer and faith, I will have nothing to be concern about, because I know the Lord Jesus Christ will guide me to the right school that not only suits me but also will assist me spiritually in my growth and relationship with him. My faith will continue to grow, through the good times, benevolent moments, tribulations, hardship, and despite of everything. My focus is so clear. My mind is set above all. My expectation is no lower than his.

Prayer Request: If by any chance you have a prayer request, please feel free to tell me, and I will be more than willing to pray for you. As for me, my mom is not doing so well, so if you can pray for her I would really appreciate it.

If you wish to email me please feel free to email write about anything, well not anything. You guys understand what I mean.

To my kids, EBK, I love you and thank you for everything. Thanks for dropping and giving a shout out to my folks in Nor Caly. It's all about the North Caly. Bump South Caly! Don't get me wrong, LA Boys, I just believe North Caly is the bomb. With much Love to all....
