Emotional, beautiful, powerful, heavy. 4 words that come to mind when thinking of Simplistic very well. With lyrics that really make you think, instrumentals that'll force you to sit and listen , and Ivan with a scream that will knock you out of your chair. This band has such a range of talent. They can create a mellow song, that still shows their talent, and a heavy song that can please any metal fan, or combine the two and give you an amazing all around song. This is a cd that just doesn't get old, and won't, no matter how many times you listen to it, you can always listen to it again. With a destinct difference in each song, it isn't just another cd that you can't tell when the track changes from 1 to 2. With their many comparisons to Linkin Park, it begins to be hard to understand where the comparisions come from, other than the fact that the band happens to be friends with Mike Shinoda. If anything I'd say when listening to this album, I was much more impressed by it, than when I bought my first Linkin Park cd. The music seems to have more feeling and emotion inside, and can destroy any comparisons with one listen. To finish this up, I think I've said about all I can for this band. I'd hate to try to compare them with anyone else, because it would be unjust, and I haven't heard an artist similar in a while. The cd is dead on, and something that will stay in my collection forever.
