BOARDWALK- July 27th
Saturday's show at the Boardwalk was amazing! Simplistic played with Red Top Road, Lowboy, Bullet Train to Vegas, and Athena in Hades. Simp played third, and there were tons of people there for them! The place was packed, and for the most part the crowd was really into it! They played Far From Found, Who & You, Karma Killer, Aimlessly Blind, Cemetery, So Close to Zero, Frontage Road, and Secrets. All the songs sounded great! Luckily it was a great show to keep in the back of our heads while we wait for the rest of the summer without a show! Can't wait for the next one!

SUNRISE MALL- July 13th
If you didn't know (which you may not have because it wasn't widely advertised) Simplistic played a show this past weekend in the parking lot of the Sunrise Mall at the Adio Skate Demonstration put on by Zumiez. Simplistic introduced a brand new song called Karma Killer. The set was made up of 7 songs including Secrets, Karma Killer, Shattered, Who and You (which was quite different from the Who and You we all know about), Far From Found, So Close to Zero, and Cemetary. The show was great all around. If you missed it you have another chance to see all these new songs on the 27th.

SCRATCH 8- June 15th
The show on saturday was great. Simplistic played with Element of Surprise, Eightfourseven, and Tenfold. Now that Scratch 8 is 18+ there werent many kids in there. Brad and I were fortunate enough to get in though....Simplistic played their 2 new ones, Cemetary and Secrets, and they were great. Simplistic drew a relatively big croud compared to the other bands that played. Of course they played the favorites: far from found, so close to zero, frontage road. Good times. If you missed out I'm sorry...don't know how many more simp shows we'll be able to enjoy here in Sacramento, so everyone should get out to as many as possible in the next few months before there are no more.

SCRATCH 8 -
March 9th
This was the best show I've ever been to. It was just amazing. Simplistic
played great. They introduced 2 new songs: Aimlessly Blind and Shattered
(formerly known as Mindset). Both of them kick ass! Scratch 8 was packed.
If you haven't been there before it's not a very big place. Nick said
he heard there were 400 people there! Can you believe that? 400!!! That's
insane. Everyone was cramped together, which in my mind, despite what
other people may think, adds to the energy. The crowd was awesome also.
The cheering, at some points, was louder than Danny's amp. And, to top
the night off, the best part of the whole show...In Far From Found,
at the end right before the screams, Ivan held the mic out to the croud,
and everyone was singing! Talk about a rush! The show was amazing. Like
I said before, it has begun...

U-TURN - January
11th
The show at the U-turn was
a good show. Simplistic played the 7 songs off of their new cd and they
sounded great. The venue was pretty awesome too, their was a big stage
so that everyone in the whole place could see the performance. Simplistic
was joined by Release, Die Trying, Surefire, and an opening band; who
all put on an excellent show. The guitarist from the first band was
fortunate enough to use Danny's Schector, the second person in the last
month! We did take pictures, but unfortunately they didn't come out.
Although the bands had to "watch what they said" it was an
all around great show.

SCRATCH 8 -
December 18th
This show was the best I've
ever heard SIMPLISTIC sound. They were right on the whole time. The
place was crowded with people. SIMPLISTIC opened and there was probably
50-75 people in there watching them. It was great. The band played the
songs off of their new cd in order from 1-7. Far From Found, Who and
You, So Close to Zero (formerly Blue Flame Breath), Last Trip, Life
Without, Simple Lines, and Frontage Road. SIMPLISTIC was followed by
local favorite Singe. (Andy broke a guitar string in the first song
and ended up using Danny's Schecter to finish off the set) Singe was
then followed by Atlantis recording artist Vent, who came in and put
on a hell of a show. All around this was a very memorable night. We're
sorry if you missed out.

THE ARENA -
October 27th
Justin Barnes is AMAZING!!!
He had an excellent show on Saturday. Simplistic was accompanied by
Singe (who put on a hell of a show), 26 Weeks, and 7th Standard. Simplistic
played a set that included Far from Found, Who and You, Simple Lines,
Blue Flame Breath, Last Trip, and Frontage Road. They will hopefully
have their other songs (Cemetary, Life Without, and Mindset) done before
the November 9th show at Scratch 8. All around the show on Saturday
was a great show. Justin Barnes fits into the band fantastically and
I dont think they lost a step at all with his addition. He has made
their songs sound just as good, and in some parts a lot better, than
before. SIMPLISTIC is definately back.

SCRATCH 8 -
August 5th
Scratch 8- August 5th
Well, it's been about a month since my last Simplistic show, and it
made this show all that much better. Simp's original time slot was 3rd.
But as the night dragged on, it was eleven when they finally took the
stage at the last slot(5th). Despite a poll in the center of the stage,
the venue was the best of my simp shows. Lots of room, and a floor for
the fans. Simp played yet another incredible show. Though many of the
fans of Fingertight and the previous bands dragged out before Simp's
moments of glory, there were still quite a few people there. KWOD 106.5
and Autumn from Sounds of Sac attended the show. After talking with
Autumn a bit, I learned that Simplistic was one of her favorite bands,
and her favorite song is "Last Trip To The Moon". Overall
a very killer show, and one of their best.

CAFE PARIS -
July 6th
Simplistic played at Cafe Paris
on friday night. Honestly it was thes sickest show ive ever seen. I
went to Anger Management, and I also saw Papa Roach with Linkin park
and Hed p.e. and this was the best show ive ever seen. A band called
"Sunday's Delimma" opened up and they were followed by "Release."
Both bands were great, especially "Sunday's Delimma", but
Simplistic was by far the best. The stage (if you could call it that)
was really small and Ivan, Danny and Nick stood in front. I wasn't keeping
track of time, but they probably played for about 30-40 minutes. Though
it was a small place, there was quite a few people standing. My personal
favorite song was "Last Trip to the Moon." The guitar in that
song is just amazing. Simplistic's next show is scheduled for friday
the 13th at Maui Pizza, but i heard that it might be changed. Whatever
happenes you should go check out their next show, whenever and wherever
it may be.

INFERNO'S SHOW
- June 16th
Simp's show was at the Inferno's
Pizza place, and they drew in about 45 people. They played second, and
for some reason the amount of people after the first band played doubled
when simp took the stage. They kicked ass!
