Peace & the Doctrine of Christ
Man being deceived by the Devil believes that he can attain peace through worldly means. He believes that if everyone is educated, incomes are raised, everyone is made equal and granted full liberty - then will peace come. This then has been put into practice by it's advocates but the fruit thereof is far different than that which was predicted. The Masonic tenets of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity have led man to utter disaster.
The Communists started with the workers and their bosses all being equal without anybody possessing anything- the result- nobody was interested with what was not his own or that which did not belong to him. Not only that but while the bosses lived affluent lives; the proliterate suffered and it was broadly the same thing that happened under the Czars; only worse. Stalin is known to be responsible for purging at least 6 million citizens. The Communist depended on conformation by brutal means like the Gulags, which were even more notorious than the Concentration Camps. The Communism of the paper and the Communism of reality were totally different. Under the absence of any absolute authority and rule-maker, crime evolved into different shapes and is now giving rise to gangs and the Mafia.
Socialism and Capitalism was no better, Capitalists made the world heavily materialistic and artificial, as things, which had absolutely no use, began to be manufactured; a means had to be devised that could make these objects look useful. This led to Advertising which at first was only popularizing the object but slowly began to take the shape of sophism and today is a full fledged science of lies. This one arm is itself is responsible for the downfall of millions and the destruction and wastage of the earth's resources. True that men could own anything but they did not stop there and wanted to own everything.
The Socialist system believed in giving man everything provided the rest of the people did not mind this. In reality however all people could never agree on all things so no one really benefited and the nobility of the soul dwindled.
In all these systems the essence of man which is his soul was neglected, in some the systems the reality of the soul was done away with completely thus making men literally into dead bodies. There is another system in the world however that is not much talked about and without fanfare but nevertheless is the absolute system or the Doctrine of Christ. This Doctrine was prevalent even before Christ walked the earth and today is propagated by the Catholic Church
When an object is purchased, the tradesman gives a set of instructions to be utilized. Flouting these instructions, voids the guarantee. Also, if the object were to be purchased from the maker and the instructions given by someone else, then the maker obviously could not stand guarantee. The Doctrine is absolute because He has made man and only His operating instructions are valid. These operating instructions are the Ten Commandments and not only insure individual peace but also social peace as well as salvation of the soul in Eternity. Unlike mundane systems, the Doctrine of Christ takes into account all forces in their proper magnitude. Take for instance the Communist system, they have done away with God, Demons and the Supernatural whereas these forces account for a very large part of human behaviour. These systems depend on physical enforcement of the law through the police and other agencies and not through an intrinsic change in man. Thus the peace that is prevalent today is only a surface peace and not a true and absolute peace. The ways and laws of Christ are totally different in approach, through them a thorough change of heart is made and thus peace is intrinsic and no one has to monitor another or tell another what to do. There is no absolute liberty which gives rise to millions of rules as each person sees life through a different perspective that is beneficial to himself. With Christ's Doctrine one only has to follow the Ten Commandments and this leads to coherence in thought and deed which makes peace automatic and inevitable.
For centuries men have climbed mountains, explored the oceans, tamed ferocious animals, proved their prowess in sport, lead sumptuous lives in the pursuit of happiness - all in the pursuit of happiness but only a few have understood the true meaning of Happiness. The soul longs to have peace, but not a peace of the human type. Contrary to what man believes the more one pursues luxuries & happiness the more one moves further away from it. Happiness lies in simplicity and simplicity gives heart rest. Chasing what one deems will give him happiness turns up sour when one achieves it. It is the detachment from that which a man perceives will give him happiness that gives him true heart rest and peace. Billions of men who walked upon the earth were fooled by momentary pleasures & enjoyments but these pleasures and enjoyments kept on recurring and once given in to set up a unending vicious cycle, in essence they enjoyed without enjoying or at least created the impression that they were enjoying, to others that could not. So the man who was not enjoying thought that he will enjoy only when he does what a person on the social ladder higher than him is doing and so day and night he endeavors to increase his resources until he reaches that stage and no sooner has he attained that stage than he sets out for the next higher stage till he reaches the top. Once at the top he realizes that he is not enjoying himself but so as not to make a fool of himself he pretends to enjoy and another person who is lower down looks at him and admires him and the whole process starts over again. This is virtual enjoyment.
The man who does not know about the absolute doctrine of Christ believes he has to impress his neighbour and win his approval thus he sets out to undertake weird and sometimes extremely dangerous ventures to attain this and if he does not, he feels his whole life is unaccomplished and wasted.
The Doctrine of Christ is very simple, all one has to do is to find the meaning of life by scrutinizing history and the bible and once it is found, one has to live by the Commandments. In other words, the meaning of life is to pass all tests which come in the form of temptations and win eternal life. One has to live within the bounds of the Ten Commandments until death. These Commandments are only there till the end of the world and do not exist in eternity. On earth however not one tittle shall be removed from the law. Once the meaning of life has set in, everything falls in line, there is no yearning to impress one's neighbour, no lust, no greed, no unnatural ventures and indeed the individual is conquered and balanced. The individual then attains great peace with himself and his neighbour, if there is plenty he knows how to live, if there is nothing he knows how to bear privation, if he is sick he knows how to bear it patiently, if he is robbed he knows that he came into the world with nothing and will leave with nothing, if someone he loves; passes away, he knows that this is only for a short time. The entire meaning of life takes on a new aspect and colour. (Let it be known here that those advocates who say that the population of the world is too much, might note that the earth is not enough for unconquered people who consume a great part of the resources of the world but it is much more than enough for conquered people who consume only a fraction of what the unconquered consume. What is the use of a hundred types of soaps or a hundred types of soft drink's and millions of other items that waste the earth's resources on fancy packaging?) What is very important to an earthly man is held to no value by this conquered man, what entertains a worldly man, is abhorred by him, or in general, the standards of the world are the diametrical opposite of him. The worldly man tries to hush and avoid the event of death and all thoughts about it, he on the other hand thinks frequently about his death and what matter he is made of. There is obviously no need of police or other organizations to supervise such a man for peace is intrinsic in him and is not forced upon him.
The Doctrine of Christ is the only doctrine that is absolute and has the answers to all men's questions an problems. unlike other doctrines it is not just a human regulation that is pieced together by observation and reasoning but is based on absolute reality.
In a village if there is one conquered man, he makes a great difference, if there are ten conquered men the village will be close to absolute peace, if everyone is conquered peace becomes as inevitable as a bee to honey. When there are ten loaves and five people any doctrine works but when there are ten people and five loaves then only the absolute doctrine of Christ works.
