Tutorial on custom Brushes

Shape

This option gives the shape to the tool.
Options are:
Horizontal Vertical Left slash Right slash Round Square

Size

You can change the size of the tip by typing 1-255 (which is the width in pixels), by using the up and down on the spinner controls,
drag the meter bar or press the pop-out button to slide the slider.

Hardness

Hardness is the determining factor of how defined the brush edges are.

Opacity

Opacity is the determining factor of how the color covers the image.

Step

Step is the determining factor of how frequent the brush tip touches the image during a
stroke. At 100% on a brush size of 5 the brush tip colors 5 pixels of the image.
When you decrease the step, the less the tip touches the image. The outline will
become less noticeable and the strokes area smoother and more dense.

Density

Density is the determining factor of how much color will apply to the image.

Build up Brush

Build up Brush does repeated brush strokes. Everytime you apply color this feature applies more to that part of the image when unchecked the color only applies once to the area. To use the build up brush check the check box on the bottom of palette two.
