To use brushes find this icon on your tool bar.
To select a brush click the brush tip option on the paint brush palette or on the first tab of most tool option see below.
You can choose to highlight custom or one of the tips listed on the sub menu.

To select a custom brush highlight custom on sub menu (shown above) a custom brush palette should appear press the down arrow on the palette next to the open dialog box. Choose a brush by click the thumbnail of the brush tip and the box should be highlighted click ok
and your brush tip is ready for use. To delete a brush do the same as you would to select it and instead of clicking ok click delete.
To edit the step of the brush on the Custome Brush Palette click edit and another window should
appear. Explanation of the step function click the link and look for
the heading Step. To change the step value using the edit palette above by dragging the slider or typing the value in the box. When done
click ok to save and then click ok to close the custom brush palette.
