The journey is over
She is awaiting the end
To leave this place
We all gather around
Getting in out last goodbyes
The end is near
She takes one last look around
She closes her eyes
And the new journey had begun
It was a long battle
One that took strength
But one that claimed her in the end
She was weakened by the battle
It took a lot out of her
The end was welcomed
No longer would she fight this battle
That had taken so much out of her
No longer would she have to suffer
She was like a cherry blossom
Beautiful but short-lived
And now the time has come
Now she is gone
I had never seen my hero cry
Until now
She was here and gone in the blink of an eye
But in that blink a lot happened
She touched the lives of many
And created lots of memories
And in the lives she touched she will live
She will live forever
I'll always remember that April
As flowers were blooming
One flower blooms and withers
But though this flower's life was short
She was very beautiful
And the beauty will remain forever
