Authentic Swing Volleyball Resources 2007

There are several threads of inspiration for the creation of this site.

First idea was the creation of a place where Scotts Valley Young Women at SVMS could better understand the 6x2 rotation they were being taught. It gave them some help in learning their positions.

Second was in Phil's CAPITOLA Recreation Intermediate/Advanced Monday Night VOLLEYBALL Class we thought that it could be an aid to learning the game. Same concern that there are not a lot of places to go to learn the 6x2 rotation. So here you go.

Third I realized I have been in Phil's classes for 27 years. His strategies and attitude are famous among the thousands of people who have taken his classes and played is his world famous "No Attitudes" tournaments. I have actually listened to his teachings and retained some of the suggestions. I have a passion for games and strategies anyway, so incorporating that data into something others may find interesting or of some values makes some sense.

Phil Kaplan's approach to playing is awesome! I hope you get part of what I find so interesting and valuable from what he has taught me...

Fourth is my most recent additional volleyball activity, coaching young Women at the middle school level. Adding more strategy to the growing data shared here.

We have a lot of information on this site from many sources that you may find very informative and useful!

If you have material that you would like to have appear here, send it to the email address below and I will update this web page.

Thanks!
