-The first Mummy-According to myth Osiris was the first every Egyptian Mummy. At one point his evil brother Set killed him. After Osiris was dead Set dismembered him and scattered Osiris's fourteen body parts up the nile. After hearing this Osiris's faithful wife and sister Isis traveled up the nile for years looking for all his body parts. When she had found all of them she had them sewn together and then mummified him making him the first mummy. So since he was dead he became the god of the after life.
