Las Vegas Weekend 2001

Celebrating Our 3rd Anniversary
October 26 - 28, 2001

Wow! We can't believe how fast the last three years have gone by. God has been so faithfully blessing our marriage - we can't even describe the beauty of it. We look forward to many more years of joy as we continue to love each other, learn from one another, and serve God together.

The Regent Las Vegas Resort

We decided to go on a road trip to Vegas to celebrate our three wonderful years together. We left on Friday morning with a stop at the Barstow outlet to find some good shopping deals. It was nice to be on the open road and just be able to talk and relax alone. This was the first time we've gone to Vegas by ourselves.
One of the Regent waterfalls The Regent Las Vegas

We found an incredible deal at The Regent Las Vegas about 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas strip. The resort was amazing - five stars and located in a beautiful setting of mountains and golf courses. We were even upgraded to a patio balcony room in the Palms Tower. All this luxury for the price of a cheesy hotel on the strip! We sure wouldn't find a deal like this in L.A.

Another waterfall The Aquae Sulis Spa and Upstairs Market Buffet

With our 2 night package we received a free dinner at the Upstairs Market Buffet. Yum! We also got complimentary passes to the hotel's Aquae Sulis Spa - 40,000 square feet of pure relaxation. We enjoyed relaxing and working out there, but couldn't afford their luxurious treatments!

At the Bellagio Conservatory The Paris Hotel Day in the City

Well I guess there's not much to say about Vegas, except that despite the slow economy it was just as crowded as it has been in the past. We walked around the big hotels and did some window shopping and sightseeing. On our way to the city we stopped at Chinatown and found some of the best boba drinks ever! Who would have thought!

... Happily Ever After

We're still in the happily ever after part. We look forward to many more anniversary celebrations in the years to come.
