Our mission is to make Anime and manga as well known to as many people as possible. Here a Manga Maihia we believe that anime is one of the best styles and qualities of animation ever made, with the use of graphics in some cases that are at least ten years ahead of their time. Take for example Ghost in the Shell, an anime made in the late 1980s, with an amazing story line and graphics, but there are many people who would not appreciate these things. But it would be ironic for those who would not to know that the film 'The Maitix' was based on Ghost in the Shell although both story lines maybe somewhat differnet. Some of the time the reason why anime is not as popular as it could be is because when people think of anime the first thought that comes into their head is Pokemon. Don't get me wrong pokemon is a good anime within its own rights (with a name alone worth $6 billion ). But the American version of Pokemon is an anime targeted at a young audience. So those people older than the targeted age groups may find it not to their liking. The people in this category are the people we are trying to reach the most, showing them that their is a heck of alot more than Pokemnon out there, and some of which if they gave a chance may find they can relate to. (Some of the Japanese animations are very meaning full as well as beatifully illustrated). Well Now that you Know what this site's for that's enough about that from us.
