This Bell Oldtimers Golf League (west) is made up primarily of Bell retirees.  The league begins play each year around the middle of April and winds up around the end of September..  Tee offs are each Wednesday morning at 8:30 at Twin Streams G & C. club in Delaware.
HEART PILLOWS

This program involves purchasing material, cutting out pieces, sewing and stuffing, then delivering to Victoria and University hospitals.  The Have-a-Heart Pillow  was designed for patients to hug against their sternum to provide support to their chest when they are coughing after heart surgery

This program provides stuffed dogs( Officer K-9) to the London Police Force. The dogs are gifted by the police to children during traumatic occurrences, to provide comfort.
Note: We have formally agreed to co-sponsor this project with the London Shrine Club.

TRAVEL

The Travel Club is a social program of the London Pioneer Club.  Cary Grant, life member of the London Pioneer Club and Travel Consultant with Thomas Cook Travel, is director of  this program. The club has been operating over the past five years and offers Pioneers and their families and friends, the opportunity to attend group activities and to travel, both locally and abroad, with other Pioneers at reduced group prices.
The Club's group activities have included Racetrack and Casino nights; day trips have been offered frequently to Dinner Theater, Casinos and Live Theater; and world tours have been offered on occasion and have included trips to Las Vegas, Branson, Ireland, Australia, Hawaii and other destinations.
Membership to the club is not required.  Pioneer activities and trips are advertised only in the Pioneer Newsletter and the Bell News. Just watch the news, select an activity or a destination and then, join the group!    Contact Cary at  clgrant@sympatico.ca
