hospitals. The Have-a-Heart
Pillow was

patients

stuffed dogs( Officer K-9) to the London
Police Force. The dogs are gifted by the police to children during
traumatic
occurrences, to provide comfort.

The
Travel Club is a social program of the London Pioneer Club. Cary
Grant, life member of the London Pioneer Club and Travel Consultant
with Thomas Cook Travel, is director of this program. The club
has been operating over the past five years and offers Pioneers and
their families and friends, the opportunity to attend group activities
and to travel, both locally and abroad, with other Pioneers at reduced
group prices. The Club's group activities have included Racetrack and Casino nights; day trips have been offered frequently to Dinner Theater, Casinos and Live Theater; and world tours have been offered on occasion and have included trips to Las Vegas, Branson, Ireland, Australia, Hawaii and other destinations. Membership to the club is not required. Pioneer activities and trips are advertised only in the Pioneer Newsletter and the Bell News.
