Master Shimabuku after studing shorin-ryu under Master Kyan Goju-ryu under Master Miyagi and Shuri-te under under Motobu. He took what he thought to be the best tecneques and developed a master system on Jan 15, 1954 That he called Isshinryu Karate ( The one heart way of the empty hand)
