FREE WILL
Do you believe in free will?

What if you found out that you did not have free will?

What if you found out that no one has free will?

Would you treat people differently?

Would you think about yourself in a different way?

Or do you need free will so much that you have to believe in it- right or wrong?

You have a choice to make.

What will you choose: old belief- or new understanding?

COMPASSION
The ability to experience compassion is to a significant degree inherited, and is missing or limited in much of the world's population. This physiological dependence of compassion, and its variability as a function of geography, explains why so many countries have social problems that are permanent as well as crippling. And yet- compassion is the one true foundation of morality, and compassion will guide us to the correct answer to every moral question.

HUMAN RIGHTS
There are countries that do not have a critical mass of people who have the ability to experience compassion. The general population in those countries does not acknowledge compassion as an authentic virtue, and will never consider the protection of human rights to be a valid objective.

BUDDHISM
Buddhism is first of all a psychology, and it recognizes that our minds are compartmented. Emotions are not expressions of our being; they are phenomena, and should be treated as phenomena.
