I'm Dominique Garcia. You knows me from your class, Mr. Ryan. Anyway, I was born in Amercia and raised in South El Monte. I moved to Pico Rivera when i was in 8th grade. I had struggles transferring to many schools because of my deafness. It wasnt too easy then. My life now is very astonishing because I had lots of opportunities when I transferred at South Hills High School with DHH program in my junior year. I particiated DHH activities and club. I learned American Sign Language to communicate with deaf people. I never knew and heard sign language before! I was shocked when I looked at deaf people with signing. I took ASL class and learned it. My life became easier and lots of happiness, I made great friends. My goodness I wouldnt never forget them because friendship cherish me.
Since I'm senior now and soon Im going to graduate my butt off from South Hills. I'm going to Cal State of Northridge in the fall. I will be study a graphic design as my major. Of course, I will so nervous and overwhelm on the first of school in CSUN. I know myself that I will be fine as long as I study hard. Wish me good luck! MR. Ryan, thanks for everything that you taught us in class how to prepare in collegework and all that. You are a great teacher. SEE u around!
