Hi, my name is Dominique Garcia. I am 18 years old. I am a senior from South Hills High School. I will graduate in less than two months. I plan to go to California State University in Northridge in this fall if I get accepted. I would like to study graphic design there.
For my English assignment, I have to do a job shadow for my major. I can learn and have a good experience to prepare for my future.
For the past years, I was fascinated with of my friend’s homepages with all logos, animated and javascript. It was amazing. My friend taught me how to make some homepages. I was interested in making on one of my own. I had a small business for website. A friend of my sibling was amazed of what I have done with my homepage. He asked me to make a website for his band, I did a good job and received money for doing it. That’s how I knew that I want to be a graphic designer. I want to learn many things. I found your name in the yellow page. I am hoping that you can teach me some new things. I am also curious to find out how you became a graphic designer. I have to do the formal request to the job shadowing by following you all day. I have to follow you for at least 6 hours. I have to take notes of what you suppose to do in your job. I would like to interview you and learn about the job.
