We called it Dark Eclectic, and it was everything you grew up listening to that made you happy and everyone else just a little unconfortable:

Rock and roll suicides, Lonesome Cowboys, Players who had just one more deal to make before they got out the game, Flower Children despoiled by bikers, Tragic maidens locked away in towers, Chinese hitmen in sunglasses, Mysterious strangers that smoked too much... these were all characters in the weekly musical menagerie that coined the phrase "From Johnny Cash to Joy Division".

Sadly, the swordfish trombone evenings of the Cat Club are now a part of history,but please do check back with us though as everyone aboard the s.s. Black Diamond is looking forward to bringing you a new year of parties, even more deeply rooted in the underground, both monthly and seasonal.
