Rice Krispies Treats

Everyone loves Rice Krispie Treats
- especially these!

You will need
1/2 c. butter
10 c. Rice Krispies cereal
9 c. miniature marshmallows
2 c. mixture of original candy corn
and Indian candy corn
3/4 c. miniature chocolate chips
Candy pumpkins
Yellow and red food coloring

Lightly grease a large baking pan.
Melt butter and marshmallows in
medium sauce pan over medium heat; stir until smooth.
In a large bowl, mix cereal, candy corn,
and miniature chocolate chips together.
To marshmallow mixture, blend in 2 drops of
yellow food coloring and
1 drop red food coloring,
adding more coloring if necessary
to reach an orange shade.
Add marshmallow mixture to cereal mixture;
stir quickly to combine.
Spread mixture onto the large pan
and press with buttered hands.
While warm,
press the candy pumpkins on top.
Let cool; cut into squares.



Orange Ozze Cupcakes

Each bite is a nice, ooey-gooey surprise!

You Will Need

Filling
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
Yellow and red food coloring
6 oz. chocolate chips

Cupcakes
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. water
1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
Decoration
Orange icing
Candy pumpkins or candy corn
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line cupcake baking pans with paper cupcake liners.
In a small mixing bowl, use electric mixer to combine
cream cheese, egg and sugar.
Blend in 2 drops yellow food coloring and 1 drop red food coloring,
adding more coloring if necessary to reach desired orange shade.
Use mixing spoon to stir in chocolate chips;
set filling aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour,
sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In second small mixing bowl,
combine water, vegetable oil,
vinegar and vanilla.
Add contents of small mixing bowl
to large mixing bowl and stir
with mixing spoon to combine.
Using mixing spoon or soup spoon,
fill cupcake liners half full with
cupcake batter, then place 1 teaspoon filling
at center of each.
As the cupcakes bake, the batter will
rise to surround the filling.
Place cupcake pans in oven;
bake approximately 25 minutes or until cupcakes test done.
If desired,
frost with orange icing and decorate
with a candy pumpkin or candy corn on top.
Makes about 36 cupcakes.



The Big Spider Web


You Will Need

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 egg
3/4 cup milk chocolate chips, divided
1/2 cup chopped roasted peanuts
1 cup marshmallow fluff
Assorted candies and gummy creatures

Combine flour and baking soda; set aside.

In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium
speed, beat peanut butter, margarine, sugar and
vanilla until creamy. Beat in egg until light and
fluffy; gradually blend in flour mixture.
Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips and chopped peanuts.
Press dough into greased 14-inch pizza pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes
or until done.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Frost top of cookie with
marshmallow fluff to within 1 inch of edge.

Melt remaining chocolate chips, drizzle
chocolate in circular pattern over marshmallow.
Draw knife through marshmallow topping to
create web effect. Decorate with assorted
candies and gummy creatures.
