This page is mainly about a kind of game we call MUD's (Multi-user Dimension) games are RPG's (Role Playing games.) Not all MUD's stick to Role Playing. Infact i have noticed most do not have strict laws on Role-playing. The MUD i play is Amethyst. I am an Immortal on Amethyst. Immortals are the rulers of the game. But ill explain that more. Connecting to Amethyst
There are a few ways to connect to MUD's I will list them then tell you about them.
One way is through your Internet Browser the way to do that is type telnet://the address of the mud:port# (Every MUD has a port # to connect to) Telnet is the host address is the address and a colin always goes before the port for example amethyst is telnet://amethyst.cyberwar.com:4000
Another way is through your windows telnet application the way to get there is goto run then click the windows file then in the windows directory search for telnet open it then goto remote system where it says host type the address and where it says port type the port #. Thats it you should be connected after that.
The final way is the most expensive way but definatly the best way. Goto Zuggsoft.com and Download Zmud. Zmud is good because It has a feature called triggers so like if you wanted to go north when it said Ultra arrives from the north. You could set up what it would say on the screen then make the command n to go north. You can also stick around my page and get a download from me for free. If you deside to goto zuggsoft and get Zmud then you have 2 choices a 30 evaluation period on the newest or a older FREE version. But i suggest you use Zmud.

What is Zmud and how do I get it?
So you want to know what Zmud is and where you can get it huh? Zmud is a advanced Telnet client that allows you to connect to MUD's, It also provides advanced features like ascii color and trigger, like I mentioned before triggers execute commands when something pops on the screen. Ascii color is a color that some MUD's use. To get Zmud goto www.zuggsoft.com or you can click on the link below. One last way to get it is go inside my page and there is a download. Where do I get a list of MUD's to play?
There are a few places where you can get a list of MUD's to play but the best place is The Mud Connector. The Mud Connector is good because not only does it list its MUD's but it allows you to search by catagory and It also gives you a description of each one. I have a link below this Just in case you descide you want to visit Mud connector. I would suggest it because it is a great page and very informative also.
