Women 50 and over must wear purple clothing and a red hat. Those under 50, fondly referred to as Pink Hatters, wear lavender clothing with pink hats. Your entire outfit from head to toe does not have to be purple, or in the case of Pink Hatters, lavender, but the more colour the better, and that includes shoes! Each member is encouraged to display creativity and play dress-up to her heart’s content.

The Crimson Blushes are a casual group so we decided that those 50 and over would wear red hats, purple tops, black jeans and as many accessories as we like to make us feel like we have played "dress up". Those who are younger will wear pink hats and lavender shirts until they reach reduation.
