Mr. Cockerill noticed Veasna was a singles the time he watched her play in Whittier Narrows on her tenth grade year.
It was her first time to play a tournament in singles.
She impressed the tennis coach alot.
From there on she played #3 singles the next year for the lady tiger tennis team.
