2005 Holiday cheer with the Oz Man!
I became aquainted with John through him finding my site and emailing me info about his Aerosmith pics. I checked out his site, got to chatting with him a bit and decided that with his permission I'd love to post his pics, so here they are. John's been a professional photographer in Colorado for fifteen years and at Red Rocks for 10 years. He has also shot at many other local arenas including: The Pepsi Center, Gothic Theatre, The Fillmore Auditorium, Mc Nichols Arena, The Buell Theatre, Denver Colloseum, The Ogden Theater, The Blue Bird and for local radio stations: KBPI, KAZY, KTCL, KOOL, KYGO. John has profiled major artists and events ranging from the visit of the President to the Rolling Stones. Look for his photography in the Red Rocks official souvenir book and the Blues Traveler Live DVD released in 2003. I'll be looking for him next time I visit my Mom and brother in Colorado. First drinks on me John! ***CHEERS!***
Update - - - After I arrived home from my sons funeral services in Dec.'06 I was informed that John had passed away. I feel so sad for his new wife & son, God be with them. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I also feel sad that I never got the chance to meet him face to face. But as I type this I'm pausing to raise my drink to John...here's to you John, first one's still on me when we finally do meet :) {{HUGS}}
