The Sosarian Training Academy is a guild made up of like-minded citizens in the Napa Valley shard in the ever changing world of Ultima Online. We have joined together with mutual ideas of what constitutes good game play, and are fairly liberal in our membership policies. We require no particular skill or experience, only a common desire to better our characters and improve our role-playing abilities. We are a non-combative guild, focused primarily on all types of training. Most of our guild members are very willing to help new players in character development and are eager to fight in defense of less experienced players. There are many practical advantages to guild membership:

1. You may spar with guild mates in order to build strength and fighting skills without criminal penalty.

2. You can practice skills such as anatomy, evaluating intelligence, and snooping with a guild mate without fear of being killed by them, and without trying to practice on a moving target.

3. Trusted traveling companions make you less vulnerable to PKer attack and can build into lasting and profitable business partners.

4. A trusted guild mate can help you safely transfer funds and items from one character to another.

5. Guild members may offer discounts on raw materials such as ingots and feathers, or finished products such as weapons and armor.

6. Having a collection of contacts that can be quickly summoned in the case of an ambush may save you many hours, or even days, worth of work.

There are surely other advantages to guild membership, and many a young citizen would greatly benefit from having elders that they can turn to for help. We try to fulfill all member expectations.
