New Enemies part 3

“So think you can go today without any assassination attempts?” the lovely Sapphire teasingly asked.

It was true, for the past two day, two new enemies have appeared to attempt to take Silver’s life. Silver didn’t mind these threats at all; in fact they gave him a precious chance to test out his skills. If Silver is going to make a difference in the world like his father did, he needs to train his skills to take on the top criminals in the world like the murderer of his father, Spider, or the ever-dangerous Raven.

“I don’t know, still too early to tell,” Silver smiled.

Silver and Sapphire were training on the beach today; Sapphire suggested that the sandy beach would be good training if they ever got in a desert battle. Personally Silver thought the true reason for being on the beach was because Sapphire liked the romantic setting. To tell the truth it was quite romantic, the water was a beautiful crystal blue, the sun was starting to set in the horizon, the air was filled with smoke…smoke! That wasn’t right!

“I guess we have some work to do,” Silver said as he spotted the source of the smoke.

“Darn! I was hoping to get some alone time with you” Sapphire sighed.

The two of them rushed off towards the source of the smoke, a burning building not to far from the beach. As they neared the burning building another one went up in flames, and soon another one.

“What’s the cause of this? It’s not windy enough for the fire to be spreading like this,” Sapphire said as she tried to keep up with her husband’s pace.

“I think that’s our answer,” Silver pointed to a figure throwing grenades in the open door ways of two more buildings.

“Oh hi hunnie,” the figure heard Silver, turned towards him and rushed up and gave Silver a big hug.

The arsonist was far from what Silver suspected. She was a cute young lady with long blond hair and sparkling blue eyes. Her choice of clothing was rather questionable though, she wore a tiny red halter top that barely covered her large breast, a tiny black mini skirt just long enough to cover her unmentionable, long black stockings with high heals. Any normal girl would look like a tramp in that kind of outfit, but somehow with her beauty this lady was able to pull it off.

“They call me X-plosion,” the lady whispered into Silver’s ear, “Although you can call me yours if you like.”

“He’s taken,” Sapphire said overhearing the arsonist.

“What a shame,” X-plosion released her hug on Silver.

“I can see why they call you X-plosion,” Silver motioned towards the five burning buildings around them.

“That’s not the only reason they call me X-plosion,” X-plosion winked.

Silver was left with his jaw hanging.

“Stop staring!” Sapphire elbowed her husband.

            “Sorry,” Silver muttered.

“Say why don’t you dump the party killed and come have some fun with me,” X-plosion leaned closer towards Silver

“Silver!” Sapphire screamed at her husband, trying to get his mind out of the gutter.

“I know we can have some fun together,” Sapphire leaned in to give Silver a hug.

“Keep your hand off my man,” Sapphire grabbed X-plosion’s hand. “And what is this?”

Inside the palm of X-plosion’s hand was a small remote control mine.

“Guess I been caught red handed,” X-plosion giggled.

“So you must be trying to kill me too,” Silver said snapping out of his daydream.

“Little old me?” X-plosion asked innocently.

“Enough, If you want to play games, ill play,” Silver smiled.

“What kind of game did you have in mind?” X-plosion returned the smile.

“Come closer and find out,” Silver winked.

“Ok,” X-plosion giggled and rushed towards Silver.

            “Blue Flare!”

“Owie, that wasn’t very nice,” X-plosion rubbed her eyes, trying to get her vision back.

“Perhaps you enjoy this more,” Silver smiled again, “Twin Dragons!”

“Ack!” X-plosion turned tailed seeing the fire dragons, and ran for her life, eventually disappearing behind some buildings.

“Come Silver, we have some things to talk about” Sapphire voice was not a pleasant one.

“What about the people inside these buildings?” Silver questioned

“Hunnie, they are abandoned, she only used the building as trap to lure you in,” Sapphire said in a mocking tone.

            “Oh.”

“So you failed too?” Crimmn asked as X-plosion came rushed into view.

“Shut up!” X-plosion snapped, “I could have been killed… oh man I think I broke a heel.”

Vertex laughed, “See he’s harder to kill then he looks.”

“Silver will die tomorrow,” a fourth voice said in the shadows.

“Boss?” Vertex questioned the voice, “I’m not questioning your skills, but Silver is tough I don’t think even you can take him.”

“You really aren’t as bright as you claim to be. Tomorrow Silver will have to deal with all four of us, he won’t stand a chance.”
