Peace Keepers To The Rescue
“That’s why,” Soul Warrior said,
pointing to the radio.
“What are you talking about?” Dark
Ninja asked
“We are going to save the
President.”
“If you say so,” Dark Ninja said as
he shrugged and walked out the door.
“Come on, you are coming to,” Soul
Warrior said to Sparow as he walked out the door.
“What? How did I get involved in
this? Oh well I guess I owe him one.”
“So what’s the plan boss?” Dark
Ninja asked Soul Warrior in almost a mocking tone, once the reached the White
House.
“Well…” Soul Warrior looked around,
“As far as I can tell New Samurai brunt all his forces with him. Looks like we
got The Vampires guarding the east entrance, the Heroes guarding the west
entrance, and finally FWL guarding the main entrance.”
“And how do you plan on getting by
all of them?” Sparow asked, leaning back on a nearby tree.
“Easy, divide and conquer,” Soul
Warrior said, “I take out the Heroes, and Dark Ninja you get the Vampires and
Sparow…”
“There is no way I’m taking on all
of FWL by myself!”
“You are a former member you should
know their tactics best.”
“I’m starting to think I would have
been better of in that snow storm.”
Lucky for Sparow the main entrance
was lightly guarded. In fact the only guard Sparow could see was New Samurai
loyal protector, Bodyguard. Bodyguard seemed to be trying to kiss a female
security guard, who was trying he best to push him off, but at over 7’0 and a
massive 317 pounds, Bodyguard wasn’t an easy person to move.
“Shouldn’t your lips be on New Samurai’s
behind?” Sparow asked, letting his presence be felt.
Bodyguard tossed the female security
guard aside and spotted Sparow, “Sparow! I wasn’t expecting to see you here.”
“I don’t have time for you right
now, so why don’t you do us both a favor and move that big fat behind of yours,
and lets me through.”
“I’m sorry, you aren’t going
anywhere Sparow,” A voice said from behind Sparow.
Sparow turned around to see the big
brawny Col. Brickwall. Brickwall was even bigger and rounder than Bodyguard. Behind
Brickwall was the rest of FWL.
“Looks like you fell for New
Samurai’s trap,” Bodyguard said.
“New Samurai will be disappointed in
you, after we inform him we had to kill you because you stood against us.”
“Oh just shut up! Ice-Fire!” Sparow
yelled.
Sparow truly had a unique gift. His
Ice-Fire was ice-cold ice, which spread rapidly like a wild fire, a unique
combination of his mother’s black ice magic, and the magic from his unknown
dad.
The Ice-Fire first hit Col.
Brickwall, freezing him in place, then started to advance towards the fleeing
FWL.
“What are you guys doing? Get him!”
Bodyguard yelled at the fleeing FWL members.
“Get yourself some stunt doubles,
we’re out of here!” one of the members of FWL yelled.
“No as for you,” Sparow said as he
pulled out his sword.
“Umm… I think I left the oven on, if
you excuse me,” Bodyguard said as he made a hasty retreat.
“That big man cooks?” Sparow
laughed, “That’s a joke.”
By time Sparow reached the
president, none other than Silver Samurai already saved him. That name still
burns hatred in Sparow’s heart. Sparow joined up with Dark Ninja and Soul
warrior at the main entrance of the White House. As the three were leaving a
channel 81 news van pulled up. A cameraman and reporter climbed out and quickly
rushed up to the group.
“I didn’t even know there was a
channel 81,” Dark Ninja whispered to Sparow.
“Same here.”
“Ok Mark are you ready?” the
reporter asked the cameraman. The Cameraman nodded. “Welcome to KTWV news. As
you all might know Silver Samurai saved the president earlier, but what you
might not know is these two heroes eliminated a battalion a soldiers
surrounding the white house. Excuse me sir, does your group have a name?”
Sparow and Dark Ninja just walked
right by the reporter.
“We are called the Peace Keepers,”
Soul Warrior said.
The reporter jumped out of his
shoes, “Who said that?”
“I did” Soul Warrior said.
“Oh, I thought you were just a
mirage caused by my lack of sleep.”
“Nope I am very much alive, well in
a sense.”
“Well there you have it folks, this
group of three heroes, the Peace Keepers, are the next heroes of tomorrow.”
“Hey Wait a minute, I don’t recall
signing up for this job,” Sparow said.
“Same here,” Dark Ninja chimed.
“Well you just did,” Soul Warrior
said.
“Oh brother. How do I get into these
messes?” Sparow asked himself.
