The Watch Tower Bound to Change fundamental teachings

A to their popularity, the Watch Tower and Tract Society will initiate a complete fundamental reform of their teachings!

  • The origins of the word Jehovah
  • The ever lasting life
  • The true God has a name

The Watch Tower says:

1.      "Some 1,900 years ago, the Jews superstitiously ceased to prononce the divine name"

2.      "Biblical Hebrew was written without vowels. Hence, there is no way to be precise about how Moses, David or others of ancient times pronounced the four consonants (JHVH) that make up the divine name".

They say:

"THE TRUE GOD HAS A NAME"

I am not an expert in linguistics, and I will not pretend to be in this matter, for this reason I will focus my work on analysing and comparing some specific altered words in The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society’s Bible where the same spelling of the word Lord is interpret as Lord in some verses and as Jehovah in others.

I will try to expose an obvious falsification that seems overlooked by the witness whom proclaims holding the monopoly pertaining to the Father’s name. The following picture taken from ‘You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth’, clearly illustrates it. Total publication of the book between 1982 and 1989: 42,000,000 copies in 90 languages.

The English definition for “Lord” is: One who has power and authority; a master; a ruler; a governor; a prince; a proprietor, as of a manor. From: ‘Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary. A lady or an institution can be also lord.

We should realize that the Greek language in comparison to English and many other languages benefits from several synonyms. As for to the term Lord we find that the Greek thesaurus includes various synonyms as described below.

Though the Greek title ‘kurie’ and all its synonyms stands for Lord in English, the writers of the ‘NEW WORLD TRANSLATION’ interpreted it as Jehovah almost every where, except when it was followed by the name Jesus or spoke explicitly of Him.

It must be understood also that our English bibles are not the original language in which scriptures were written. The King James Version was the first major translation into English and was created approximately 1600 years after Christ came to earth.

The Bibles we have today where translated from old Hebrew Scriptures, for the Old Testament and from ancient Greek Scriptures, as for the New Testament. It would be appropriate to believe that the New World Bible translators used the same ancient manuscripts.

Why would they have dishonestly translated their Bible?

One thing is sure; this matter did not happen as interpretation errors but toke place by manipulating the ancient texts, and the way they did it required certain knowledge of the ancient languages.

For a better understanding of what they did, I will illustrate verses from the ‘King James’ Bible, the ‘New World Translation’ Bible, and the ‘Greek/English Interlinear (tr)’ NT. Bible.

Here are a few examples of synonyms associate to the title Lord in the Greek vocabulary.

  • kurie - representing (LORD)
  • kurioV - representing (ONE LORD)
  • kuriou - representing (THE LORD)
  • kuriw - representing (THEIR LORD)

Now let see how in some occasion the writers of the (NWT) freely interpreted the exact same synonyms for the title Lord as Jehovah where ever it was not followed by the name Jesus or spoke specifically of Him and as Lord when it was followed by the name Jesus or spoke specifically of Him. This time lets use the synonym kurioV signifying (ONE LORD).

  1. (King James), 1 Corinthians 8:6. There is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for Him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him.
  2. (NWT) 8:6 there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him.
  3. (Greek/English Interlinear (tr) NT) 1 Corinthians 8:6 all <235> {BUT} hmin <2254> {TO US [THERE IS]} eiV <1520> {ONE} qeoV <2316> {GOD} o <3588> {THE} pathr <3962> {FATHER,} ex <1537> {OF} ou <3739> {WHOM [ARE]} ta <3588> panta <3956> {ALL THINGS,} kai <2532> {AND} hmeiV <2249> {WE} eiV <1519> {FOR} auton <846> {HIM;} kai <2532> {AND} eiV <1520> {ONE} kurioV <2962> {LORD} ihsouV <2424> {JESUS} cristoV <5547> {CHRIST,} di <1223> {BY} ou <3739> {WHOM [ARE]} ta <3588> panta <3956> {ALL THINGS,} kai <2532> {AND} hmeiV <2249> {WE} di <1223> {BY} autou <846> {HIM.}

In 1 Corinthians 8:6, the new world translators correctly interpreted the synonym kurioV for the simple reason that because they wish to make the world believe that not the Son Jesus Christ but the Father is called Jehovah, if they had translated it as Jehovah, instead of one Lord, as they did hundreds of other times in their Bible, 1 Corinthians 8:6 would read like this: ‘There is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for Him; and there is one Jehovah, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him.’

Now lets see an example where they translated the same exact synonym, (same exact spelling) of kurioV (Lord) for Jehovah:

(N.W.T.) Mark 12:29 ‘Jesus answered: "The first is, 'Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah

Another falsification using the synonym kuriou - signifying (THE LORD)

Keeping in mind that ‘kurioV - is a synonym for (one Lord) as we saw in 1 Corinthians 8:6 and in Mark 12: 29, kuriou - is a synonym for (the Lord). Now let see what they did in Luke 24:3:

·        Luke 24:3 (King James), ‘And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

·        Luke 24:3 (N.W.T), ‘and when they entered they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.’

·        (Greek/English Interlinear (tr) NT) Luke 24:3, kai <2532> {AND} eiselqousai <1525> (5631) ouc <3756> {HAVING ENTERED} euron <2147> (5627) {THEY FOUND NOT} to <3588> {THE} swma <4983> {BODY} tou <3588> {OF THE} kuriou <2962> {LORD} ihsou <2424> {JESUS.}

Again they translated the Greek text exactly as it should be done, (kuriou for of the Lord.). Once more, they had no other choices, for if they had used the term Jehovah, Luke 24:3 would read like this: ‘and when they entered they did not find the body of the Jehovah Jesus’

Now lets look at: Acts 2:20.

  • Acts 2:20, (King James), ‘The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:’
  • Acts 2:20, (N.W.T); ‘The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and illustrious day of Jehovah.’
  • (Greek/English Interlinear (tr) NT) Acts 2:20, o <3588> {THE} hlioV <2246> {SUN} metastrafhsetai <3344> (5691) {SHALL BE TURNED} eiV <1519> {INTO} skotoV <4655> {DARKNESS} kai <2532> {AND} h <3588> {THE} selhnh <4582> {MOON} eiV <1519> {INTO} aima <129> {BLOOD} prin <4250> h <2228> {BEFORE} elqein <2064> (5629) thn <3588> {COME} hmeran <2250> {DAY} kuriou <2962> {OF [THE] LORD} thn <3588> {THE} megalhn <3173> {GREAT} kai <2532> {AND} epifanh <2016> {MANIFEST.}

I will come back with other examples later. The two examples we saw are significant situations where the WATCHTOWER BIBLE AND TRACT SOCIETY OF NEW YORK, INC., manipulated the Greek and the Hebrew texts more then 7,000 times to falsify a Bible that supports their teachings.

As we saw at the beginning, they said that there is no way to know how Moses, David or others pronounced the four letters (JHVH). However they pronounce it (Jehovah) portraying the Father as Jehovah. But it is impossible to say the word ‘Jehovah’ in Hebrew (or Aramaic)—the letters to create those sounds simply does not exist in either the modern or ancient language of Israel and the Jews. And would it make any sense at all that the God of (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) would reveal Himself to them through a name that is grammatically impossible to say in their language?

The actual facts are that because of an interpretation of such texts as Exodus 20:7, which says: ‘Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain’ the title Lord came to be regarded as too sacred for expression and was replaced by the four vowels JHVH. What the original vowels signified is a matter of speculation; the scribes, in reading aloud, substituted the name Lord, and therefore wrote the vowel markings for Lord into the consonantal framework JHVH as a reminder to future readers aloud to not pronounce the name Lord as they read the Scriptures every day.

Yes, there is no way to be precise about how Moses, David or others of ancient times pronounced the four consonants (JHVH) as they say, but what is precise is that the consonants (JHVH) are not a word, but four consonants placed in the Masoretic Hebrew text as a reminder not to pronounce the name Lord,

Microsoft (R) Encarta Sais:

Jehovah, name of the God of the Hebrew people as erroneously transliterated from the Masoretic Hebrew text. The word consists of the consonants JHVH or JHWH, with the vowels of a separate word, Adonai (Lord). What its original vowels were is a matter of speculation, for because of an interpretation of such texts as Exodus 20:7 and Leviticus 24:11, the name came to be regarded as too sacred for expression; the scribes, in reading aloud, substituted "Lord" and therefore wrote the vowel markings for "Lord'' into the consonantal framework JHVH as a reminder to future readers aloud. The translators of the Hebrew, not realizing what the scribes had done, read the word as it was written down, taking the scribal vowel markings as intrinsic to the name of their God rather than as a mere reminder not to speak it. From this came the rendition Jehovah. The evidence of the Greek church fathers shows the forms Jabe and Jâo to be traditional, as well as the shortened Hebrew forms of the words Jah (see Psalms 68:4, for example) and Jahu (in proper names). It indicates that the name was originally spoken Jaweh or Yahwe (often spelled Yahweh in modern usage). Etymologically, it is a third person singular, imperfect, probably of the verb hawah (or hajah), signifying "to be." The older interpreters explain the verb in a metaphysical and abstract sense; the "I am" of Scripture is "He who is," the absolutely existent. Jehovah is not the way to pronounce the Father’s name! First of all it is impossible for the fact that Hebrew language has no "J" sound and according to ‘Strongs Concordance’, it doesn't add up when it comes to the name Jehovah, for the second part of the name, “hovah” means RUIN and MISCHIEF in Hebrew.

The Hebrew title ‘Adonai’:

Adonai is the Hebrew word for ‘Lord’, and the four letters (JHVH) were placed in the Hebrew texts as a reminder to future readers aloud to not pronounce the name (Adonai) Lord.

The WATCHTOWER BIBLE AND TRACT SOCIETY OF NEW YORK, INC., is bound to change this fundamental teaching. They establish their organization on the proclamation that they where the only people on the face of the earth to know and to use the name of the Father (Jehovah) and to make His name known all over the earth. In an other of their books, ‘You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth’ they say: ‘If you where to talk to someone about Jehovah and his kingdom, with what religion would people associate you?’

Though JWs are extremely proud to be part of such knowledge today and still preaching that in fact, knowing that the name of the Father ‘Jehovah’ is necessary for salvation: See same book, Chapter 22, page 185. Even if they would make a changed in their teachings, I believe that as they did time after time in the past most of the good members of that society would immediately dump today’s perception on the name Jehovah and without asking a single question would accept and preach what-ever the W.T., would put together to cover-up their fraudulent previous translation of the Greek and Hebrew texts.

They declare in that book that the churches in general avoid the use of the name Jehovah, and that even some of them have removed it from their translations. According to that book, there are only one people that are really following Jesus the Christ's example in regard of making God's name, Jehovah, known to others.

Page 184, referring to John 17: 6, they say: ‘Yes, Jesus made God's name, Jehovah, known to others. He did not fail to use that name.’ But not only in verse 6, but also in none of the 26 verses of that chapter 17, Jesus never called His Father once by the name Jehovah, but instead called Him ‘Father’, six times. Like it is the case for most of their references John 17:6, provides no support to their declaration.

In that same page, they use Matthew 6:9, N.W. as well to backing-up their teachings, but again Jesus did not make the Father’s name, Jehovah, known to others as they say, but called him ‘hmwn ‘Our Father’. Jesus failed to use the name Jehovah when He said: ‘You must pray, then, this way: Our Father in heaven, let your name be sanctified’

Here are a few quotes taken from their own Bible ‘The New World Translation’ where Jesus called the Father, ‘Father’ not ‘Jehovah’: Matt.: 5: 16- 5: 45- 5: 48- 6: 1- 6: 8- 7: 11- 7: 21- 8: 21- 10: 20- 10: 29- 10: 32- 10: 33- 11: 27- 12: 50- 16: 17- 18: 10- 18: 14- 10: 19- 20: 23- 23: 9- 24: 36- 25: 34- 26: 39- 26: 42- 26: 53 Mark: 11: 25 Luke: 6: 36- 9: 59- 10: 22- 12: 30- 15: 18- 22: 29- 24: 49 John: 5: 17- 6: 32- 6: 65- 8: 19- 8: 28- 8: 38- 8: 42- 8: 49- 8: 54- 10: 17- 10: 18- 10: 29- 10: 30- 10: 32- 10: 37- 12: 26- 12: 27- 14: 7- 14: 12- 14: 20- 14: 21- 14: 23- 14: 28- 15: 1- 15: 8- 15: 15- 15: 23- 15: 24- 16: 10- 18: 11- 20: 17- 20: 21 Rev.: 2: 27- 3: 5- 3: 21

Yes, they provided another false information when they said: Yes, Jesus made God's name, Jehovah, known to others. He did not fail to use that name.

At this time I would like to say that during all the years I have investigated this Church, or Society, I have developed great respect and love for the members. They are good and dedicated people. My only reproach to them would be that they seem to have lost their ability to rely on what they call the Holy Spirit that would have told them that the W.T. was the true organisation of God on the face of the earth; they refuse to take another good look at the WT’s teaching.

Like it is the case for many other highly brainwashed religious groups, it appears that they closed their minds to any outside information that could; after an honest investigation, allow them to know for them self, if the W.T. teaches the true words of God, which could help them to gain a stronger testimony of their teachings if they are, or if they are not, would make it easier them to take proper action.

A miss understood word would stays a confusing word as long as the person will not clarify it. We know that for thousands of years, writers have carefully selected their words when expressing a thought but we understand only the terms we are aware of or familiar with. This is why it is wise to refer to a good dictionary when not sure of the meaning of a particular word. The definition of a word can’t be modified without producing a fundamental change in the meaning of phrase. I realize that not every-one may perhaps go to the same extent I did here to find-out about the W.T.’s teachings but a good knowledge of the words can make a big difference when our eternal life depends on them.

I don’t intend to show their 7,000 counterfeit translation right now but wish to show a few more at this time.

The Bible says that Jesus the Christ is the Lord Jehovah

Jehovah Judge:

The New World Translation, the Watch Tower's Bible, tells us that Jehovah is the Judge

  • "As for Jehovah, he will sit to time indefinite. Firmly establishing his throne for judgement itself."
  • "And he himself will judge the productive land in righteousness;"
  • "And those knowing your name will trust in you," Psalms 9:7,8,10.

Christ Judge:

The New World Translation tells us that Christ is the Judge

The apostle John knew who the "LORD" (Jehovah) of the Old Testament was, he knew that the "Lord" (Jehovah) himself will judge the productive land in righteousness when he said:"For the Father judges no one at all, but he has committed all judging to the Son," John 5:22, N.W.

Matthew also, knew the teachings of the Old Testament, when speaking of Christ he said:"For the Son of man shall come in the Glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his work." Matt. 16:27.

Jehovah Saviour:

The New World Translation, the Watch Tower's Bible, tells us that Jehovah is the Saviour

  • "For I am Jehovah your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior... " Isaiah 43:3. N.W.
  • "I am Jehovah; and there is no Savior besides me." Isaiah 43:11. N.W.

Here again the Old Testament is clear concerning the title "Savior", can we question it? There is no Savior beside the "Lord" (Jehovah) of the Old Testament.

Christ Saviour:

The New World Translation tells us that Christ is the Saviour

As they wrote in the book of Acts the apostles knew that the "LORD" (Jehovah) of the Old Testament was the Son, Jesus the Christ, they knew the Old Testament's teachings when speaking of Christ, they said: "Furthermore, there is no salvation in anyone else, for there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved." Acts 4:12, N.W. or as Matthew said: "She will give birth to a son, and you must call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from sins." Matt.1:21 N.W.

The apostle Paul also was aware of the teachings of the Old Testament when he said: "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." 1Timothy 1:15, N.W.

Christ is the Creator

The Lord, that spoke to Isaiah was Christ, and he did not deceive him for what he said in verses 43:3 and 43:11. The book of Acts is not contradictory to the book of Isaiah. Christ is the Lord of the Old Testament that created our world.

The Creator looked after his Creation

After creating the world, Christ also called the Word, looked after his creation, he is the God that spoke to Isaiah, and Moses, and Jeremiah, and all the other prophets. He directed them and guided them in the administration of the house of Israel. Then this same Creator called the Word was made flesh: "So the Word became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory" John 1:14 N.W., and he established his Church and at the age of 33, he died on the cross and he continues today and he will continue to supervise his creation until the end, until judgment day, until resurrection day, when he will hand over to the Father, his work. At this time only will he present to the Father his work, the creation he was commissioned to create. 1 Cor. 15:24. According to the Bible, Jehovah of the old Testament is the Lord Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, the Savior. See also: Mat. 28:18, John 3:35, 17:2, 1Cor. 15:27. Heb.2:8.

All things came into existence through Christ

"He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not." John 1:10. In John 1:1-14, we read that Christ, also called the Word, is the Creator of all things and not even one thing came into existence (Apart from him) or not even one thing was not made by him"All things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence" John 1:3, N.W.

The Father himself, speaking of Christ said: "You at the beginning, O Lord, laid the foundation of the earth itself, and the heavens are the works of your hands" Hebrews 1:10 N.W.

An other misleading teaching: RESURRECTION

Same Book, Page 143:

  • 6, However, many persons believe that Christ took his fleshly body to heaven. They point to the fact that when Christ was raised from the dead, his fleshly body was no longer in the tomb.(Mark 16:5-7) Also, after his death Jesus appeared to his disciples in a fleshly body to show them that he was alive. Once He even had the apostle Thomas put his hand into the hole in His side so that Thomas would believe that He had actually been resurrected. (John 20:24-27) Does this not prove that Christ was raised alive in the same body in which he was put to death ? No, it does not."
  • Same Book, Page 144:

  • 8, Well, then, what happened to Jesus fleshly body ? Did not the disciples find his tomb empty ? They did, because God removed Jesus body. Why did God do this ? It fulfilled what had been written in the Bible. (Psalm 16:10; Acts 2:31) Also, if the body had been left in the tomb,Jesus's disciples could not have understood that he had been raised from the dead, since at that time they did not fully appreciate spiritual things. 9, But since the apostle Thomas was able to put his hand into the hole in Jesus' side, does that not show that Jesus was raised from the dead in the same body that was nailed to the stake ? No, for Jesus simply materialized or took on a fleshly body, as angels done in the past. In order to convince Thomas of who He was, He used a body with wound holes. He appeared, or seemed to be, fully human, able to eat and drink, just as did the angels that Abraham once entertained. Genesis 18:8; Hebrews 13:2."

If I told you that Christ did not die on the cross but the Father put him to sleep to prove the reality of Christ's death and resurrection, and after being put in the tomb, after every body left and as the guard fell asleep, the Father helped him to run away from the tomb and Christ went hiding for three days and after three days he started to appear to many people, would any body believe me?

If someone can believe the Watch Tower's story, they should believe this one, because my own story is by far a better story, because Christ would not have to find an other body, an other body with wound holes like his own body had, to prove his resurrection. He would not have to lie to the disciples when he said: this is my hands and my feet, that is myself: feel me, because it would have been his hands and his feet, that would have been himself, not the hands and the feet of another wounded body. But my story is not the true story of Christ's resurrection because I have imagined, I have assumed, I have invented this story, as it is the case for the Watch Tower's story.

How without lying, could Christ have said: "This is Myself"?

"Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?" "Behold my hands and my feet, that is myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones as ye see me have." Luke 24:38,39, N.W.

If as the Watch Tower says, if Christ wished his disciples to believe he had resurrected in SPIRIT only, why would he have shown only his BODY and asked them to feel it?

How without lying, could Christ have said: See; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones as ye see me have.

As we read chapter 17 of the same book, because of their teachings, we can sense the need for The Watch Tower to imagine God, the Father, being the author of an impressive scenario to prove the reality of Christ's resurrection . To justify how Christ would have resurrected without his body, they had to imagine the possibility that the Father in heaven would have removed the body of Christ from the tomb because according to them, if the body had been left in the tomb, the disciples which did not fully appreciate spiritual things. would not have understood that he had been risen from the dead.

How otherwise, can The Watch Tower explain the fact that his disciples saw him in his resurrected body, that he was able to eat a piece of broiled fish before them, that Thomas was able to touch the hole in his side?

Christ used parables to teach, he used stories to give a better understanding of his teachings but this is not a story, this is not a parable, Jesus saw that "his disciples were terrified and affrighted and he did not want them to suppose that they had seen a spirit" Luke 24:37. Christ wanted them to know that they were not seeing a spirit but instead they were seeing himself, in his resurrected body. Why would he say: "that is myself" if it was not in fact himself?

I know Christ did not lie, I know Christ never lied, he never spoke one misleading word, and I know that he also said the truth when he said: "Behold my hands and myfeet, that is myself:handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones as ye see me have."

Natural and Spiritual Bodies

The Bible says: 1 Cor. 15: 32-57

According to the Bible, natural mortal bodies of flesh and blood can not go into the kingdom of God because they are impure corruptible, at one time or an other they will get in a state of decomposition and no corruption can enter or inherit the kingdom of God, 1 Cor. 15:50. As the spiritual incorruptible eternal bodies can inherit the kingdom of God.

Paul told a sacred secret to the Corinthians, and he said: "We shall not all fall asleep (in death), but we shall all be change, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, during the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised up incorruptible, and we shall be changed." verse 51, 52. Paul said that the mortal corruptible bodies of those having not fallen asleep, being alive during the last trumpet, during resurrection day, shall all be changed, in the twinkling of an eye, our physical mortal corruptible bodies will be change to a spiritual immortal incorruptible bodies because flesh and blood cannot inherit God's Kingdom.

A spiritual body comes from a seed and the seed is a natural mortal body. Paul said: "It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body." 1 Cor. 15:44. The spiritual body is different from the natural mortal body, it is not the same body, just as the cob of corn we hold in our hand, as well as the plants that produced the cob is not the same grain that was put into the ground.

As Jesus yielded up his spirit the curtain of the sanctuary was ruptured in two, and the earth did quake, and the rock-masses were split, and the tombs of many bodies of the members of the Church of Jesus Christ, called saints, that had fallen asleep were raised up, and they entered into the holy city and appeared to many people. Matt. 27:51-54 Again this is not a parable but a fact stated by the Bible. If many bodies of the saints that had fallen asleep were raised up, at Christ,s resurrection, and they entered into the holy city and appeared to many people, also the body of Christ was raised up, and he, himself appeared to many people in that state.

  • The Bible doesn't say the tombs of many spirits, but: the tombs of many bodies of the saints that had fallen asleep were raised up, and entered into the holy city and appeared to many people.
  • The Bible says: the tombs of many bodies of the members of the Church of Jesus Christ, called saints, that had fallen asleep were raised up,

If Christ would have used an other body like the Watch Tower says, what could have stopped him from telling the truth to them? why could he not say: "This is my spirit in another body with wound holes similar to my own body"?

In the complete Bible we can not find evidence for such stipulation, and there is no relation between the verses used by the Watch Tower and the interpretations they give of those verses.

Chapter 17, they say:

"The Bible, in fact, speaks of the eyes of our understanding.

"For 40 days after his resurrection, Jesus made appearances in a fleshly body to his disciples. (Acts 1:3) Then he left for heaven. But some may ask: Did not the two angels present tell the apostles that Christ will come thus in the same manner as you have beheld him going into the sky? (Acts 1:11) Yes, they did. But notice that they said "in the same manner," not in the same body."

The two angels present said that Christ will come thus in the same manner or in the same way, or in the same conditions, as you have beheld, or observed. or seen him going into the sky.

The Watch Tower is completely right when they say that the two angels said: "in the same manner,"- " not in the same body." Neither did they say that Jesus ascended to heaven without his resurrected body, neither did they say that Jesus will come back invisible:

Where The Watch Tower is completely wrong is when using Ephesians 1:18 to contradict Acts 1: 3-11, and Revelation 1: 7, they say: "Then in his spiritual body he ascended to heaven. Thus his return also would be invisible, in a spiritual body." page 146.

In Ephesians 1: 15-18, Paul spoke of the spirit of wisdom and revelation . Having heard of their great faith in the Lord Jesus, Paul gave thanks to God for them in his prayers, and asked the Father to give them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, that the eyes of their understanding be enlightened, that their knowledge may be increased, that they may understand what to hope for in the calling they received from God, that they may know the glorious riches God holds as an inheritance for the holy ones,(the saints): "The eyes of your understanding enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints." Ephesians 1:18.

This verse is not supporting the fact that the body of Jesus could not have been resurrected, or the idea of Christ taking an other body with similar wounds, which fleshly body, he would have abandoned or given up in the clouds as he ascended to heaven. And if he would of abandoned or discarded his fleshly body as he went into the clouds, those watching him go into the clouds would have seen his fleshly body come out of the clouds and crash on the ground before their eyes. It does not support the idea that when the apostle John said: Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, John meant to say: He is coming with the clouds, and every one will discern or perceive him, or understand or recognize that Christ is present.

Ephesians 1:18, does not support such interpretation of the Watch Tower: "Then in his spiritual body he ascended to heaven. Thus his return also would be invisible, in a spiritual body," page 146, it does not speak of the eyes of our understanding. Ephesians 1: 18 does not contradict Acts 1: 3-11, and Revelation 1: 7, "Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him".

page 145, they say:

" While Jesus appeared to Thomas in a body similar to the one in which He was put to death, He also took on a different body when appearing to His followers. Thus Mary Magdalene at first thought that Jesus was the gardener." John 20:11-16

As we know, Mary kept standing outside the tomb, weeping. The angels asked her: why are you weeping? She said: they have taken my Lord away, and I do not know where they have laid him. As she turned she saw Jesus but did not recognize him, her eyes were full of tears at the time, and even if she knew that Christ should resurrect, her spirit was not prepared for this surprise, but as he called her name she recognized him. I know that she saw Jesus the Christ with his own resurrected body of flesh and bones that morning, if Christ would have looked like the gardener she would have kept believing it was the gardener, she would not immediately have called the gardener by the name of Rab-bo-ni, which means Master or Teacher, she would not have tried to cling or embrace or hold on to him.

In order to resurrect some thing has to die first

In order to resurrect, something has to be destroyed, or has to die first. Spirits do not resurrect, simply because they do not die. The spirit of Christ could not resurrect because it never died in the first place.

In order to live, our natural mortal bodies of flesh and bones and blood have to be united with our spirits. Death is the separation of the body and the spirit. The Bible says: "the body without spirit is dead," James 2:26, but the spirit does not die at, or after the separation of the body but it lives in a special place called paradise.

Let's recall Jesus' death on the cross between two malefactors and find that spirits do not die at the separation from the bodies. Speaking to the one that said to him: "remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom" Jesus answered him and said: "Verily I say unto thee. Today shalt thou be with me in paradise." Luke 23:43. If Christ and this man were going to paradise that day, their spirits only were going to paradise, and if their spirits went to paradise after they left the bodies, they could not be dead but were very well alive.

The Bible tells us that the spirits of the dead are very well alive and communicate with each other, they learn and accept or reject the gospel of Jesus Christ, this is why Christ in this state, as his body was in the tomb for three days and his spirit was alive, in that state Jesus the Christ went and preached to the spirits in prison. Why would he go and preach to the spirits in prison if spirits do not live after their bodies are in the tombs? How could the spirit of Christ teach, or preach to the spirits in prison, who had once been disobedient .... in Noah's days, 1Peter 3:19, 20, if spirits do not communicate with one an other? What would have been the purpose for Christ going to preach to them if they are not alive, if they do not make choices concerning Christ's teachings, if they do not take decisions concerning what is good or bad for themselves? And how could the spirit of Christ himself go and preach to them if it was dead?

The Bible says that as we will, Christ was resurrected with his perfect body of flesh and bones. Why would the Watch Tower be rejecting the words carefully chosen by God and his prophets to communicate their teachings?

Up to now, how many verses of the Bible have we read in this page? Up to now, in how many verses does The Watch Tower agree with the words of the apostles or the words of Christ himself? Not one, for they contradicted every one of them.

Stick to the meaning of the words!

If we stick to the words of the Bible, if as they show us some purported to be contradictory verses, if we take a good look at them and try to understand those supposedly contradictory words, if we have them reading the verse over again and again, and have them reading a larger portion of the chapter from which they have taken this verse, using a good English dictionary if necessary, they will realize that they are not contradictory, that either those verses speak of a completely different subject, or does not mention the words stated by the W.T. Such is the case for John 17:6, Matt. 6:9, where the W.T. says that Jesus made God's name "Jehovah" known, when in fact, Jesus never called him by the name "Jehovah" but called him "Father" instead, or they will realize that they simply support the verse they are trying to contradict.

Running away from them would not be a positive solution but facing them with the true meaning of the carefully selected words of the prophets or the apostles or Christ or the Father himself, to express themselves concerning important facts like the resurrection, like eternal life, like the constitution of God's government and it's eternal governing laws, and many more, will keep them away from our doors or away from the Watch Tower's teachings.

Don't let them get away with any false interpretation!

With love and understanding, we should not let them get away with any wrong interpretation of the words of the Bible, but instead, show them the true meanings of those words, show them that those words are not our own words but words carefully chosen to explain, to clarify the true teachings, that they are the words of the prophets, the words of Christ, the words of the Father in heaven, the words of the apostles, and they can not be changed.

The W.T. is aiming at those having very little or no knowledge of the Bible's teachings. They are aiming at every one of us regardless of our skin color, background or nationality, but they condemn us rapidly if they find out we have a fair or good knowledge of the Bible's teachings. Their main target is the majority of us that have very little or no knowledge of the Bible's teachings, who are basically very good people, having our own difficulties in life, and asking ourselves questions concerning that God mentioned in the Bible.

Is good knowledge of the Bible important? Yes!

But more important is to read the words as they are written! Regardless of our knowledge of the Bible, if we are concerned, I believe many of us could and should show them the true teachings of the Bible, by having them read the words as they were spoken and recorded. By doing so, many of them will see for themselves, and based on their intentions and their honesty, they may leave that organization, which in the process might reduce the number of them knocking on our doors. My writings can not be changed, or used for commercial purposes, but you can download it for your own personal use.

Do not worry about your knowledge of the Bible

Simply show them that they are not reading the words of the Bible! Be ready for them !

Regardless of the reason, if any one of us is concerned by their teachings, we should get ready for the day they will knock on our door. As they are prepared to spread false teachings, we should prepare ourselves to show them the true teachings of the Bible. If needed, and until you can do it on your own, download my page and show them what the Bible really says. Stick to the words of the prophets. Do not let them get away with their false interpretations. If any one of us loves the truth, it is our own responsibility to destroy the lie. The W.T. may be no harm to yourself but could be a danger to someone else. The majority of the mail I receive is from people that saw loved ones or good friends falling in their webs, to use their own expression, they saw loved ones or good friendships go down the drain and they feel they cannot do any thing to help them.

Any one of us that believes in God and in the Bible should believe in the Holy Ghost. By reading the teachings of the Bible as they are and being receptive to the truth, in complete honesty, we will not fear people coming to our doors to speak about God's kingdoing to paradise that day, their spirits only were going to paradise, and if their spirits went to paradise after they left the bodies, they could not be dead but were very well alive.
