What does fantasy mean to me? It means an escape from reality, obviously, into a world where I don't have to be me. My fantasy is mainly played out online, over the internet, with multiple other people who enjoy the same thing. About 6 years ago I was introduced to a text based online environment called a MUSH. Multi User Shared Hallucination. I started out on an Elfquest based one and from there moved on to World of Darkness. From there my fantasy worlds expanded even more to include the Marvel X-men universes and Pern. Today I mainly stick to Elfquest, X-men and Pern.
Nightstar
: Played on the X-men based MUX (Multi Used eXperience). She is my villain and a character that has been in my mind for probably 7 to 8 years now. On Marvel X-treme I have finally been able to bring her out of the closet in my mind and play her.
Sketch: Also played on Marvel X-treme, she is my hero. Capable of drawing things and making them come to life. A newer addition to the characters I've come up with over the years.
Kandri: My most favorite Pern character. She is a brownrider on PernMUSH. Her dragon's name is Chaedanth. In a lot of ways she is based on me, mannerisms and all that. But she is more than me. She is how I want to be and am striving to be. Though I doubt I'll ever get the dragon.
Fluria: Created near the same time as Kandri, she is also a PernMUSH character. She has gone from being a wandering holderbred to trader to assistant headwoman and now is Ista Weyr's newest Goldrider. Lifemate to the Queen Qirith on 10/01/00.
Suncatcher: One of the first characters I ever designed for online role-playing. She has gone through a lot of changes over the years. Currently she is a catelf and played on an online holt called Shadowcliffs.
Offline I also play in table top games. The main one currently is a World of Darkness game. Run by a super cool Storyteller, Sabs. Imagine this: Two werecats and a Werewolf running around together to stop the end of the world. Fun no?
