The Exhibition

Arikawa & Miyamoto - Rie wore a red dress with gold trim, Kenji wore black pants with a white shirt, black and gold vest? (can't read my notes again, LOL). Skated to some kind of South American guitar music. I didn't notice a lot of speed or difficulty in their skating. First marks ranged from 4.2 to 4.4, second marks from 4.1 to 4.5.

Kulikova & Markov - I show tan and blue and red for costumes. Skated to music with a strong drum beat, song was called "Asylum," I think, sort of rock music, LOL? Lots of interesting moves - I like this couple. I think I saw a stumble or two, but I'm not sure. First marks ranged from 4.2 to 4.6, second marks from 4.3 to 4.8.

Kauc & Bernadowski - Aleksandra wore a red dress with gold trim, Filip wore a cream shirt with brown pants. The music seemed to be some sort of French song. First marks ranged from 4.2 to 4.6, second marks from 4.3 to 4.8.

Lefevbre & Lanning - Chantale wore a medium blue dress which faded to black at the hem, Justin wore black. The music was piano and horns, something in Italian, I think, LOL. Very romantic program. First marks ranged from 4.7 to 5.1, second marks from 4.9 to 5.0 (or 5.6 - can't read my notes).

Wing & Lowe - Megan wore a burgundy dress with lots of illusion fabric, Aaron wore a burgundy shirt with black pants. The music was chant music (?). Very nice program. First marks ranged from 5.1 to 5.2, second marks ranged from 5.2 to 5.4.

Handra & Sinek - Beata wore hot pink with silver sparkly trim, Charles wore (I think, LOL) black sparkly silver and pink with black shirt. Skated to strong beat guitar music which switched to Santana sounding music. First marks ranged from 4.7 to 4.9, second marks ranged from 4.6 to 5.0.

Chait & Sakhnovsky - Galit wore a tattered burgundy and black dress, Sergei wore a black tux. Skated to Paganini music. Lots of intricate and quick steps. I love the choreography of this program. Galit reminds me of Pasha Grishuk in her skating style. First marks ranged from 5.5 to 5.7, second marks ranged from 5.6 to 5.8.

Anissina & Peizerat - Marina wore a pretty white dress with what looked like a tan bodystocking under it, Gwendal wore a black tux, with something on his shoulder (can't read my notes, but it looks like "white tatters," LOL). Skated to their jazzed up "Moonlight Sonata" medley which I dislike so much. I like their program (especially that nice leap by Gwendal at the beginning) - do not like the music. Not their best - I would like to see this program later in the season. First marks ranged from 5.6 to 5.7, second marks ranged from 5.7 to 5.9.

Grushina & Goncharov - wore black and red with some sort of breastplate look and skated to "Gladiator." Very similar cut to Alexei's and Sasha's. First marks ranged from 5.3 to 5.4, second marks ranged from 5.6 to 5.6.

Dubreuil & Lauzon - Marie-France wore a shiny gold and silver dress, black and silver for Patrice. Skated to dramatic religious music. Interesting program. First marks ranged from 5.3 to 5.5, second marks ranged from 5.5 to 5.7.

I guess I agreed with the results. I am really more fond of Chait & Sakhnovsky's program, but Marina & Gwendal did have more difficulty in theirs.
