Residents' stories were featured in Muted Cries (1991) by Toren Anderson Steele, former assistant project director for an adult literacy program operated by Georgia State University and Atlanta Public Schools
Mary Hill's play, "A Tribute to Women of Color" (1991) written for an after-school program, evolved into a Georgia Public Television production.  Most of the cast were women from Bankhead Courts and Blalock students making their acting debut.
Research and articles on Blalock's Character Education Program have been featured in  Education Week, Atlanta Journal & Constitution, dissertations and other scholarly reports.
